Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"...We are planning on getting married, right?" She whispers.

 

"Eventually, yes." He whispers back

 

She smiles, touching her nose to yours.

 

He wiggles his nose.

 

"Something did. I'm pretty sure you're not cursed anymore." Shadow Stephanie says.

"Stephanie, why don't you take your friends to the dining room? I'll have the spaghetti finished soon." Praecantatia asks.

"Ok Mum!" Stephanie says happily, heading out of the kitchen. Shadow Stephanie and Katie follow her.

 

Emerald follows, glancing at Praecantatia.

She rests on your shoulder.
"So... did you decide where to stay for the night yet?"

 

Praecantatia seems to be wearing a relatively clean apron as she happily prepares the food, telekinetically retrieving a few plates.

Stephanie leads the group to a dining room with a large table, oddly big enough to fit everyone with just enough seats.

 

"Far away from civilication. In the forest or something like that."

 

Emerald sits down, glancing at the others but keeping quiet.

"You're not going to make another clearing, are you?"

 

"What, you mean like the fire? No, ofcourse not."

 

The others happily take their seats around the table, Katie sitting next to Emerald.

 

I find the nearest open seat that's not at the head, taking it.

 

Shadow Stephanie gives you a light smile.

 

"No, I mean knock down more trees."

Emerald keeps quiet, closing her eyes.

 

The room seems peaceful, like time decided to slow down for Emerald.

 

She turns around suddenly, suspicious.

 

She manages to turn around in time to see Praecantatia happily bringing in a couple of plates of spaghetti bolognese, putting one in front of Stephanie and the other in front of Katie, before heading back out into the kitchen.

"Thanks Mum!" Stephanie says happily.

Praecantatia returns with two more plates of spaghetti, placing them in front of Shadow Stephanie and her own empty seat before leaving one final time, bringing back cutlery and a pot of cheese.

"Should we say grace for you, Miss Praecantatia?" Shadow Stephanie asks jokingly.

Praecantatia chuckles lightly as everyone begins to eat.

 

Emerald soulscans the room, unsure.

 

There don't seem to be any out of place souls, not even a wandering spirit.

 

Emerald sighs, sitting and waiting for the others to finish.
