Generic Fantasy - [5/7]

I have a vision. The lizardman engulfs the being whole and turns around and attacks me. The tavern melts and behind it peeks a familiar star-hooded face. The scene fades away.

Leon: "Good evening beings, would you be courteous enough to show me where I may find a room to stay in for the dawnshed?"

 

OOC:did you go back in a tavern or are you saying this at me?

 

OOC: To you!

 

After hearing a booming voice from my back I turn aroud and somewhat recognize the group
Dez(a little suprised):"can't you see I'm bu...wait a minute you're the guys who stole from the cult good job on that. As for you're rooms the tavern is literally next to us so I think you can find it you're mouse friend is also there. Now let me continue to interrogate this man"

 

Leon: "Many thanks, being."

I return to the tavern.

 

Dez:"also do you know anything about this pendant?" I show him the pendant

Targeted individual gets boost of moderate luck. time = 10 min. Moderate luck is considered as: you'll be more likely to find valuables on the steet and better chance at fiding lost items like keys.

Spoiler: Luck II

Targeted individual gets big luck boost. t = 20 min. Big luck boost is considered as: You'll get a higher chance to hit the bullseye in the game of darts, or you'll be able to correctly guess the number that someone thinks of.

Spoiler: Luck III

Targeted individual gets huge luck boost. t = 30 min. Huge luck boost is considered as: You might jump out of the window of 2 story buliding and land safetly in the cart of hay, or you might win a game of poker with bad hand.

Spoiler: Luck IV

Targeted individual gets huge luck boost. t = 1 hour. Huge luck boost is considered as: You might jump out of the window of 2 story buliding and land safetly in the cart of hay, or you might win a game of poker with bad hand.

Spoiler: Luck V 50/50

Targeted individual gets 50/50 luck boost. t = 2 h. 50/50 luck boost works diferently then rest of the luck spells. The caster will eitherl get luck so high that he'll never loose a game of Russian roulette, or get his openent convinentily killed. OR He might get so unlucky that he'll get in a fight over anything and always loose, or accused of crime he never commited and thrown in prison or even executed.

 

Seeing all of this ridiculous spellcasting I just had ideas for, I'm probably going to compensate by creating a bunch of crazy strong physical techniques.
After I'm done with the magic, of course.
By the end of this everyone's going to be crazy overpowered.
Then again, if everyone's super, nobody is.
Probably should introduce a power level ceiling though.

It's been a couple minutes. You and Vesuia are resting on some chairs you found. They're actually pretty comfortable.
However, you soon hear people walking around on the first floor, right below you.

 

Lazarus (whispering): "I hear footsteps downstairs... Let's prepare for an ambush when they come up... Could be the hooded guys."

You're probably not gonna like that I am, comming up with whole new foci related spells.

You enter the tavern doors. Robert appears to have dazed off on a table, and there are a bunch of random adventurers and cultists at the tables, drinking and forgetting their worries. Some people are playing a game with cards over in the corner, and a bard is doing tricks and playing stories on a small stage. A female bartender is running around with drinks and raking in the money.

Bartender: "No."

it depends. Did you enter the room? You two simply appear to be standing vacantly in a hall right now.

 

I approach the female bartender, making sure I don't bump my head on the ceiling. I'm sure I bump a few tables on the way there.

Leon: "Greetings, being. Do you have prices on rooms for the night?"

 

I'm pretty sure I stated in my previous posts that I take Thorston to my room.
Well... I do that now then.
