ok so I see a lot of people saying its banable but all i understand is mobs come over to you and they die from thorns/reflection what's so bad about that

what you're describing is completely fine. However, the reason afk grinding is frowned upon is because most people use it to abuse the fact that weak (really weak) lvl 100 mobs with good spawn rates drop items even though they shouldn't.
