Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Huh."
I try to get a good look at the golem.

 

The golems arms appear to be made up of many segments allowing it to move them with ease, while it's legs appear to be more solid with only a few joints. The golems body appears to be quite large, looking almost armoured, while it's comparatively smaller head seems to just be for it's eyes.

 

"So, where are we headed?"

 

Stephanie points to the middle of the islands, a gargantuan tree stretching extremely high in the very middle.

 

"You're worth the risk, aren't you?" She asks, grinning.

"Point being, not a very bright future."

Emerald tries to focus the excess magic in the area into causing herself to levitate.

 

Emerald seems to be able to levitate herself quite easily, the area brimming with magic.

 

She tries to absorb some of the residual magic, hoping to recover as she flies off towards the group.

 

The magic seems plentiful and powerful, seeming to come from all around Emerald.

 

She continues absorbing it, like a starved wolf ripping through a fresh corpse.

 

The magic continues to flow, almost overpowering Emerald.

 

She stops at this point, seeming satisfied as she rushes to catch up with Stephanie.

 

"Thank you."
He keeps silent.

 

She does too, though she perks up a bit as the Leviathan swims into view.
"Well, there's the way onto that island."

 

Stephanie doesn't seem to be too far away. Katie appears to be playing with large amounts of water, drawing it from the air itself.

 

"Hey, the residual magic helps a lot. Thanks for bringing me here." Emerald says, seeming renewed. "Though... I still don't remember anything from back when things went south and now."

 

"Well, hopefully we can fix that soon!" Stephanie says happily.

An eerie, demon roar fades through the air coming from the large stone based island, catching Stephanie's attention momentarily.

"Wonder what's over there." Shadow Stephanie comments.

 

Emerald glances over.
"...Is there anything stopping us from taking a look?"

 

"Looks like it."
He gets up and waves towards the Leviathan

 

"Not really. I don't think Mother's expecting us, so we could take a short diversion." Stephanie says, looking toward the island.

 

It changes course slightly, swimming directly at you.

After a minute, it lands. A few humans jump off, waving.
"Thanks!"
"No problem. Don't disturb the locals."
"Right. See you soon."
It turns to you and Anne.
"Ah, another trip? I take it this is because of the full moon tonight?"

"Well, I guess that's our excuse to take a peek." Emerald says, flying towards the island.
