Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

She glances back at the golem.
"This his house?"

 

The golem responds with a blank stare.

 

She opts to get closer to the house, peeking inside any windows.

 

The curtains are closed on most of the windows, but Keila can see through one window, which isn't covered all the way, a room with a couch and a fireplace, the walls lined with books on bookshelves.

 

She opts to head back to the room Voidfiller was in.

 

"Is it your home? You life in a cave now?"

 

The girl looks over the food on the table.

 

"I think it's about time for you to slow down a bit and relax." A Terrae says, as the draconian splashes onto the ground due to something pushing her down.

 

He's still at the machine, thinking.

 

"Hey, is that cabin yours?" She asks, voice raised.

"I will in a minute. Figure it's time for you to ramp things up before then." She retorts, flooding the bottom of the arena.

There's loaves of bread, some kind of large animal that's been cooked and seasoned, and a few other smaller dishes with things from mashed potatoes to salads.

He rearranges the arrow into a stick figure person, then scratches a rough image of a cave below the house. He draws an arrow from the stick figure to the house, then takes a few steps back and lays down with his head under the cave.

 

"Did Ragnyon leave you alone in the cave?"

 

"Hm?"
Voidfiller turns towards her.
"Oh, yeah. Door's unlocked if you want to explore."

 

He shakes his head, a bit flustered.

"Thanks." Keila says, heading back to the cabin and testing to see if the door really is unlocked.

 

It is.
It opens into the living room the Keila saw, this time with more doors visible.
The golem follows her in.

 

Keila checks the bookshelf, curious.

 

"Is there something wrong with Ragnyon?"
He looks at the drawing.
"So we have a house, a cave and a person, which I assume is Ragnyon."

 

Judging by the titles, it's chocked full of fantasy stories.
Other than that, it's just a bookshelf.

 

He draws four lines.
He draws checks over the first three and an X over the fourth.

Keila checks for anything that isn't a fantasy book.

 

There's three other bookshelves, all lined with history books.
At least, by the titles.

 

"So there is something wrong then? Who's that person?"
