Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The girl jumps a bit, crawling over to the side to look down at the entrance.

 

He nods.
He plays dead one more time, then opens his eyes and stretches as if he's just waking up.

The door closes, but as far as she can tell, nobody actually entered.

 

The girl looks toward Avis.

 

"Oh, got. Seeing as this is a 'dream', if I did I wake up."
He picks up the flower and opens his mouth.

 

Avis, also seeming confused, peeks around a bit before laying back down.

Sgavrinn nods, nuzzling you one more time and humming before waving.

 

The girl decides to stay where she is, hoping nothing bad happens.

 

Suddenly, she hears a voice from nearby.
"...Do you want to meet them?"

 

Bardock eats the flower.

 

You feel dizzy, then sick, then nothing...

You wake with a start on a bed of leaves, Anne and three centaur around you.
"You had me so worried..." Anne says, nuzzling you.

One of the centaurs, dead silent, hands you a bark plate with a slab of cooked meat on it.

 

The girl jumps, scrambling to her feet and looking around.

 

"What happened?"
He tries to sit straight.

 

Nobody's nearby...?
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you..."

"Exhaustion. Please, eat..." Anne urges you as the centaurs keep quiet.

 

The girl takes a few steps back, not realizing how close she is to the edge.

 

He takes the meat.
"Thanks." He says to the centaurs.
Nom nom nom.

 

She loses her footing, but someone's there to keep her from falling at all.

A decloaking figure reveals a scared-looking draconian wearing tattered armor.
"S-sorry..."

You're still ravenous.
You'll have to fight the desperate instinct to tear into one of the centaur as the third goes and gets more food.

 

The girl glances behind her, before she leaps backwards, backflipping and grabbing the ladder, quickly ascending.

 

There's only three more floors to go up before she hits the top of the ladder.

The draconian cloaks again.

 

The girl powers on up to the top, looking around.

 

"Well... yeah."
Pause.
"I don't really have anything to say against that."

 

More of the same.
Mostly.

There are only three active cryostasis chambers.
