"Well, if it didn't work, it'd be a shame, no?"

 

"The slime doesn't seem content, though."

She made it another ten stories up, and there seems to be some sort of console that a draconian can hook themselves into the machine.

 

The girl looks at the console, curious.

 

"Sgavrinn?! Where did you come from?"
He slaps himself a few times.
"I'm probably just hallucinating from hunger."

 

He nods.

It seems to be a control for the entire room.

 

The girl tries accessing the console to see if there's any security measures in place.

 

"I am dreaming? Oh, okay."
He lets out a sigh of relieve.

 

"Eh, looks fine to me."
He says, turning his head towards the slime, who's still eating the fruit.

 

There's a soulcheck lock, among other things.

Sgavrinn nods, nuzzling him again.

"...Never mind."

 

"You alone, Sgavrinn?"

 

The girl decides to leave the console alone, looking down as she takes a rest.

 

Avis seems to be constantly watching the doorway.

He nods.

 

"Why are you here?"
He pets Sgavrinn some more.

 

"I get it, though. Your first instinct is that trapping the slime and then hitting it is probably morally wrong, which I won't argue with."

 

The girl looks around for any coins, small rocks or anything that'd make a noise if thrown down to the bottom floor.

 

He shrugs, humming more when pet.

A little shard of ice might work.

"I didn't understand your response, but you're right."

 

The girl grabs the ice shard, throwing it down, aiming for just next to the entrance.

 

Voidfiller nods.
"Well, care to take another shot?"

 

"Why am I here?" He thinks to himself. "What about Anne? Is she alright?"
He pets Sgavrinn.
"No, she's with the Chieftain, she should be save right?"

 

Avis perks up, before sighing and curling up again.
