Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

He sits down infront of the fire.
(I red that wrong. I thought he was holding some woods and she ignited it while in his hands)

 

The crystal turns an emerald green, Emerald herself being unresponsive.

She's laying there unconscious, the library just as inactive.

It's warm, but a bit unneccesary in the middle of the day.
You'll probably dry off quicker, except for the fact that sitting on the ground makes you muddy, which makes cleaning yourself a bit redundant.

 

"Alright, I'm dry enough. Let's go meet the centaurs."
He stands up, ready to leave.

 

I go over to one of the shards of the shields, investigating it.

 

I look at the crystal, seeing if I can view anything inside it.

 

She kicks up dirt to put out the fire.
"Come on. At least they won't smell you coming."

Nothing, but a small indent that's colored a brighter green.

It's mostly made of raw hardened magic energy. Voidfiller may want to break them down for experimentation.

 

I stash a few for keepsake.

 

I poke Emerald again.

 

No response.

"...Did that thing come with directions?" Xlentia asks, confused.

They're warm to the touch, but other than that, there's no reason not to collect more.

 

"...We might've been bamboozled." I say, worried.

The group looks rather depressed.

 

I collect a few more as Crystal goes over to Emerald and shakes her.

 

"Well, if you don't know how to make it work, then how do you know it doesn't work?"

She's still unresponsive.

 

"Well, it looks like an Emerald for a start." I say, though losing hope.

"I'm leaving, you're welcome follow me." Shadow Stephanie says, seeming disheartened, opening a portal and stepping through. Katie, Stephanie and Artemis follow her through.

 

"Hmph. Well, bring it over here. I wanna see if my idea works." Xlentia requests.

 

I hold out the crystal for Xlentia to take.

 

"What're we gonna do with her?"
Crystal asks.

 

"Put it on the ground and move away."

"Heal her, somehow."

 

I put it down and back away with my hands raised.

 

She stomps on the crystal, green flecks of dust flying out from under her foot.
"Emerald is the brains, and when the brains fail, you bash it until it dies. Or you be me and get along just fine with the latter."

 

"Cryostasis?"
I suggest.
