"I met the kitsune again. And we talked for a while."

 

"...What are you getting at?" She asks, suspicious.

 

"He's not using any magical tools?"

 

"Oh, no. Tons of them. He's just a cog in his own machine."

 

"...Huh."

 

I step off to the side with Aj.

 

"Nothing to big, just.. you know..."
Pause.
"..love."

 

She slaps you.
"You're mad."

 

"Why? Can't I love someone?"

 

"She trespassed and she's come back to harass us. How can you love her?!"

 

"So...a while ago, I was given this vision. As I remember, it was of me, and I couldn't move. Then a sort of clone of Vei, Ihra's mother, took Shadow Katana from me and killed me with it, both of my forms, and crushed my Shadow Crystal, killing me completely. It's one of the few things I haven't fully told Artemis about, but...I wanted to know if...like...you knew anything to do with that? It's been at the back of my mind and it's honestly kind of scary to think about." I explain quietly.

 

I lean towards your ear.
"That's not going to happen... as long as you keep her in Shadow Katana." I whisper.

 

"We get along well. And..."

 

Keela just glares at you.
"You're your own being. However, I don't want to see her here ever again."

 

"What? In Shadow Katana?" I ask, confused, "...What do you know about Shadow Katana and it's properties?"

 

"Nothing, but as long as you are in this reality, she is the sentience."

 

"Oh come on. If she didn't lead us to the fire, who know what could've happened?"

 

She hesitates.
"...I'll forgive her, for the time being. I don't want any more trouble out of her."

 

"...That would explain the change in personality, I must admit. So...how would I make sure she doesn't get out?" I ask.

 

"Thank you. Does that mean she's welcome?"
