??? Meteor Shards

I have a simple question: For what do you need the meteor shards in the ??? quest?
Do you need al three of them or just one?

 

If I remember correctly, you'll need all three. I THINK you need to drop them in hoppers around the big meteor.

 

Which ones? the old or the new ones?
Old ones -> trash
New ones -> throw them into the hopper at the big meteor ( and dont forget the key)

The old ones can still be used in the hopper for a sort of "easter egg" (It's just a text)

 

Does one of the 3 or 4 people need it or everyone?

 

You need to have at least one of each between everyone in your party. You could have three people throw one each in and the door still opens. You can also get in solo if you have all three.

 

You still have to do the whole quest in order to get in... You receive a key in a previous step, which you need to proceed in the white meteor. Also, if you just go there with the key and the 3 shards without starting/following the whole quest, it would say "Access denied" when you try to enter. :P To start the quest, you NEED to do the 3 meteors with 2 others to get teleported. They're not just there to get the shards together, if you thought so. :D
