I remember seeing a video earlier in this thread where either motoki or JackyKit used the Specialist (which has no damage at all) and dealt raw spell damage.

I'll look into Raw Melee when I can get my hands on a Blur to test with Cancer Taurus.

And about the builds, you're probably better off at build crafting, and right now I'm not really in the mood to sit down and gruel through different build options. You seem pretty confident, and you have a lot more experience than me so I'll just take the L on this one.

 

Literally earlier in this thread it is proven that Damage Indicators simply do not show Raw Spell if there is no neutral damage, but it is there.

In the same instance, it is proven that Raw Spell is solely affected by spell multiplier, so that's cool.

Blue mask had a pretty bad health bonus even for it's level. Morph stardust was never meant to replace it, it was meant to be used in the morph set, not every single freaking build.

Blue Mask is mainly meant for lower levels or if you don't have quite enough Skill Points to wear what you need or use, you just equip it. Unlike it's brother Morph-Stardust which is over used, over done, and has so much Elemental Defense. Blue Mask true needs a bit of a nerf but it doesn't give you much HP nor does it need a SP requirement, the SP requirement is a bit needed, I would say that Blue Mask needs something to balance it out, but I have no idea what to add. Either way, wearing Morph-Stardust to me feels dirty so I don't wear it anymore, wearing Blue Mask feels off. Both do need touched, Morph is getting a touch which I am grateful for. If you can go to Blue Mask and give it some kind of touch, it would work out nicely.

 

Blue mask has literally nothing to offer other than skill points. Stardust had skill points, thunder damage, mana regen, elemental defences and tons of health.

 

You have explained why it needed the nerf. Blue Mask has seemingly not a lot to offer but it has more than you think.

If we are talking about why Morph was nerfed, it has been stated many times, the reason why it's still very good is that it still has the SP, the Rainbow Defense, and the Mana Regen. Morph is still good, it's just that people have their own opinion and that on what it is. I say; Don't look at what it was... Look at what it is now. Except Archangel, that thing either needs to get out of Mythic or get a buff. :p

Look at what I quoted... I explained the reason why MSD was nerfed and I asked about Blue Mask, not Stardust. Since I seem to have to re-state it, here:

You take Blue Mask as basically just nothing but SP which it should be. However Blue Mask has helped out a lot for making builds to a wide ranged option. So instead of just being able to wear STR items or just use those, you can also use INT, AGI, DEF, etc. items. Look into the items before judging them. Blue Mask can be used for a few builds but even though it may not seem very good, it can be terrific. You can save so much SP with it and spend that SP into something else. Stats matter a lot, specifically Agi (Which in my opinion needs to be nerfed), Int, or Dex.

 

Why are you explaining basic parts of the game to me? I am completely aware that having more skill points allow you to use two or three elements in your your builds but is that a bad thing? No, not necessarily. Without intel, spell builds are horrific. Items like these let you use elements other than water for spell builds. The point of blue mask is that you're sacrificing an entire helmet slot (if you don't think that's a lot just have a peek at cumulonimbus, shimmersight, new stardust, anima-infused, nii shako, whitecap crown etc.) for skill points that allow you to use a wider variety of items.

I can tell you the same thing. Just peek at the helmet alternatives. Blue mask has a lot of competition with Anima's current 15% elemental damage, 25% spell damage bonuses (with the update, the elemental damage gets doubled), and that's not even counting the health, reflection or defences.

Blue mask is fine.
