Media Speculation On The Next Update

... well if it is as meh as mob update was, dont expect me to be around in game

 

I don't have a screenshot, but there is a thread somewhere with screenshot with grian saying that the next update will be Wynn, it might be a joke, but maybe they are adding some lore to unused places like the Time Gate, Ternaves Prison, and Ohms Lab.

 

My hopes are as follows:

• 3 new quests for corkus, given the area was to have 3-7 quests according to grain's live stream and we got 4 in the corkus update.
• Eye of the Storm reworked
• Something with the Two Towers quest/area, i jokingly said we'd get this on 9/11 (clearly not trhe case) and gavel's been here for, what, 2 years? And this area has had nothing done with it. Either the quest or a rebuild/repurpose for the area is my vote for what is to be done. Maybe not this update but a hope indeed
• Hallowynn, now i'd definitly would want this, however the time inbetween the hallowynn quests was large, being 2014 was the first (i think) and 2016 featuring the latest and buggiest one. Maybe next year would be more in line with the past quests, but this year would be nice of the CT to do. Plus, maybe this gives the chance on the Craftmas event to be very good if they don't do Hallowynn.
• Molten Heights isn't coming, Xavier has said,

But why. I wanted it.

 

Ask a dev why everythig is more important than the Molten Heights story. My best guess is that the refractor is getting in the way of somethings the ct may want to do for this this arc, however that's aptly convenient.

Or their trying to lead us to a fault sense of security to be surprised and amazed for when it's here for the 1.17 update.

 

I just think that the GM who started working on the MH Storyline is the same one who bailed on Royal Trials and ended up leaving it to some other GM who didnt start working on them yetand that's why it wasnt released yet

This is what I'm excited for/hoping for what will be in the update:

New quests, including the reworked ones. Hopefully we get a new quest or two in corkus because it feels a bit empty, and we have no quests centered around the Avos, so we could get that. There will probably be a level 99 sky islands quest because we have a level 95, 96, 97, and 98 quest, and a level 99 one is missing. Its also possible that the update will give significance to things that have been unknown for two years, like the puzzle in Dogovi and the two towers, however this is unlikely and I won't get my hopes ups. The reworked quests, on the other hand, are never worse than the original version, even if some people don't think so for a reason that confuses me *cough* Out of my Mind *cough* I really don't care which quests get reworked as long as they are better than the old ones. Hopefully bad gavel quests like Eye of the Storm and From the Bottom get some TLC. Also the Royal trials airship puzzle is being reworked so that's good, because that thing was cancer.

New Corrupted Dungeons(Hopefully)
Hopefully we'll get some new corrupted dungeons since corkus delivered 2 of them. My hope is that we'll at least get corrupted barrows and ruins, but galleon's would be nice too. A lot of people don't like corrupted dungeons because they feel that it's a lazy way of making new dungeons, but I personally like them. I think it's kind of cool to revisit old dungeons, plus they give OP af gear as rewards.

New Boss Altars(Hopefully)
Not much to say here. There isn't a single boss altar meant for level 80s, so hopefully there will be one in canyon of the lost. Another one in molten heights would be nice too. Just like new dungeons, boss altars give OP af gear so new ones are always a good thing.
As you can probably tell I used the word "hopefully" a lot meaning that what I predict could be totally wrong. I'm already a little disappointed that molten heights isn't coming, hopefully the update itself won't be disappointing.
