The Hunger Games - Night 6

The satchel has an empty flask, a compass, some dry food and water-proof matches. The duffel bag contain equipment for a tent.
The cannon goes of in the distance. You should probably get moving, your still pretty close to the Capricorn.

"I can't climb, or do that fancy jumping form tree to tree thing you do but...I've got this spear."
She show you the spear she was holding in her hand. There's blood on the blade, it's already been used.
The cannon goes off in the distance.
"Look, just give me some survival tips at least like what berries I shouldn't eat or something."

You duck into the woods and can see tributes fighting and killing each other while some snag what they can and run. Others just run.
4 have already died.
*Boom*
There goes a 5th one.

 

I'll wait, glancing over my shoulder occasionally to make sure nobody sneaks up on me.

He jumps down, carefully.
"Looks like you're good with a spear."
He smiles at her.
"Let's go."

I run and try to find water as fast as I can. If i find water, I fill my flask and use the compass and go straight west/east (depending on the cornucopias location, wichever goes away)

As a 6th and final life is taken, the 5 tributes left at the Cornucopia (they make it very obvious that they're a team) they loot what's left of the gear and set up camp. They don't even bother cleaning up or moving the bodies. Somewhere in the the woods are the other remaining tributes. The Hunger Games have officially begun, may the odds be in your favor. (Check OP for list of fallen tributes.)

 

Good thing I didn't go in...

I'll wait for them to leave and see if anything remains on the dead tributes that can be of use.

 

There gonna be there for a while, your in for a long wait.

"6 already. We should get going. Stay close."
He starts walking into the forest.

 

Away from the cornucopia. I'll be stealthy, though.

 

You have to give it to the game masters. The arena is very beautiful, especially for something that was artificially made. Granted that's the nice thing about autumn, it's so gosh darn pretty.

"A cabin?"
He looks at Jessica.
"Let's take a look, don't go inside yet."

 

The cabin was made out of stones, most of which have fallen or have been eroded. The roof has also caved in.

 

Aren
He climbs into a tree to get a better view of the insides of the cabin, searching for anyone hiding.

 

The cabin is empty.

 

Aren
He climbs back down.
"Let's see if there's anything inside here."
He enters the cabin.

I dip my hand in it for a split-second to make sure it's not boiling, acidic, or anything.
