Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The Leviathan stays near, curiously watching him.

"She's met personally with many of my siblings."

 

"She has? Are you perhaps related to guardians then?" The forest guardian asks.

 

Voidfiller just goes to sleep.

 

"Not in the slightest. I... would tell you where I come from, but you'd think me a fool."

He's woken to the sound of cracking ice.

 

He gets up, half-attentive, and looks around.

 

The Leviathan seems to be messing around with his iceberg.

 

Voidfiller rolls off his bed, down a newly made ramp, and get up and looks at the Leviathan.
"What is it?"

 

The Leviathan swirls its tail in a circle, pulling down the iceberg into the water a bit.
It seems to just be toying with Voidfiller.

 

Voidfiller doesn't seem to mind, summoning a large beach ball, showing that Leviathan that it bounces, then bouncing it towards the Leviathan's nose.

 

The Leviathan's first instinct seems to be to bite it.

 

"No no no no..."
Voidfiller says, a bit drowsy, as he telekinetically lifts the ball into the air.
"You bounce it."
Pause.
"If that's fun for you. What's fun for a thing like you?"

 

"I wouldn't." The forest guardian says, smiling.

 

It swims circles around him.

"I come from another reality. One where dragons aren't near extinct, where there are no guardians, and where lower gods look pitiful to the strongest mortals."

 

"...Circles. Right. Going in circles."
Voidfiller says, the ball disspearing as he crawls back into bed.

 

"...Wow, and that pirate captain threw you to the side like a burnt bow?" The forest guardian asks, surprised.

 

"Yes... in fact, one of her adopted daughters is a demigod to a goddess that... is a piece of work."

His bed slowly gets pulled deeper down into the water.

 

"Adopted daughters? You mean the pirate captain decided to adopt children?" The forest guardian asks, surprised.

 

"Yeah."

 

"That's...that's despicable. She's probably just using them for her own gain!" The forest guardian says, shocked.

 

Annoyed at this point, Voidfiller tries to rise up the land at the bottom of the sea to support his iceberg.
