Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"It's a katana, a totally different weapon." I say, putting Shadow Katana back in it's sheath.

 

Bardock quietly climbs the tree, trying not to wake Anne.

 

"A katana is a type of sword. Check any of the ten thousand and forty-eight dictionaries which contain a 'katana' entry."

She still seems to be asleep, body slowly rising and falling with her quiet breathing.

 

When he is high enough, he pushes Anne from the branch she's sleeping on, making her fall down.
After that, he transforms and jumps down, landing above her. (Like standing above her body)
"YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE." He says a bit angry.

 

Turns out she isn't asleep, as she shouts "SURPRISE!" As she leaps at you, then off you as she runs through the treetops.

 

"I think I'll agree to disagree here." I say, crossing my arms.

 

"Sure."

Emerald tries linking with Tenebrae.

 

Emerald can't seem to reach Tenebrae, or she isn't responding.

 

Emerald stops trying.
"Well, where were we?"

 

"I said I didn't think you'd propose something risky without going over the outcomes first." I say.

 

"ANNE!"
He chases her. (From the ground I take it?)

 

"Okay. Well... what else did you want to ask?"

She's running in the treetops, but you're now on the ground.

The rest of your pack goes after her.

 

"Uh...What are the likely interations between Ihra, Xlentia's heart and the whole ritual? Like, is Ihra's soul going to resonate with the relics or something and manifest illusions of her memories that transform the area around us? And Xlentia's heart will resonate with other relics to bring her destructive power to life or something?" I ask.

 

"The relics will keep both Ihra and Xlentia's heart intact during the ritual, which I will catalyze. From there on, I'll need someone who Ihra knows to be brave enough to go into Oblivion and be there when Ihra wakes, or her mind will go blank."

 

"They'll kill her." He thinks.
Bardock starts to accelerate, trying to reach Anne first.

 

"What are the rules governing magic and such inside Oblivion?" I ask.

 

Emerald hesitates.
"That... is something I wish I knew."

As you chase her, you start to smell smoke. It's not coming from her, though...

 

"Fire?"
He looks around really quick to see if he spots anything, but he continues chasing Anne.

 

I write down a few more notes, before looking up.

"I think I have everything I need, then." I say.

 

Seems a few centaur are also awake now...
Anne glances back, and then slows down once she sees you.
"Sorry! There just... I don't know how to put out fires I didn't start!"

Emerald nods.
"I, uh... I'm sorry I don't know any more specifics. I'm doing my best not to show how furious it makes me, not knowing..."
