Escape Double Jump?

So today I decided to play Wynncraft again after stopping for 3 months. I have this mouse that double clicks when I only click once, so it's a pain in the ass. I was testing out my spells in Cinfras and for some reason, if I clicked fast enough, I could "double jump" with escape. I could jump all the way on top of the house behind the Item Buyers. I thought maybe that Escape's Knockback was already that high, so I tried to cast Escape only once, but I didn't get on top of the house. Note that I could also hear the Escape sound effects twice while "double jumping" This affirms that I have effectively "double jumped" with Escape. But why? Does game lag affect how the game receives inputs?

 

It happens to me too when I use Spell Casting Macros and I lag in the server after I cast the spell two times or more

 

Personally i use a 40 CPS macro for casting escape, it usually gets 2/3 casts per try so i can go really far

 

I don't have a macro and most of the time my escape spell makes me go double jump.
Obviously lag.

double using escape is inefficient. If unintentional, I guess it can't be helped, but if you're intentionally doing it- stop. You can legit cover ocean distances between islands with a full mana bar using escape. Double using it would kill potential distance, and height can just as easily be obtained from one escape.

Actually at certain points it's more efficient (or faster, whatever) because you'll be able to jump from 1 mountain to another where with only 1 escape you'd slowly float down to the bottom in between the 2 mountains and then you'd have to climb up again.

 

using the double escape doesn't propel you that much farther- it's not like it adds momentum. Anyways, it'd be more efficient to use a horse if mountain traveling in the first place due to archer's bad mobility on rough terrain.
I mean go ahead, double use escape if 10 blocks means that much to you, but since mana usage in consecutive spell casting builds up double using would be way less efficient. If it's like a one time use to cover a large hole, then sure I guess that works (because that's when it would actually work well to use double escape since it'd be a one time spell casting)

 

You're talking around the point. If you use double escape which DOES propel you further, in some places you'd be much faster than going all the way down and then all the way up, even with a horse when crossing COTL for example. It's pretty situational, but it is a thing.

 

Yes I agree that using one escape is more efficient to travel, mana wise and other stuff, but thats not the point. For example you wanna get somewhere high and can't reach it with one escape. You would try to find a stepping stone or another way to get there right? But what if it's just a plain 1 block width tower? there'd be no stepping stone or any other way. Since you can manage a double jump, it's like using air as a stepping stone. Thanks anyways
