The title says it. How do GMs set where the mobs should spawn and remove the spawners? I'm just curious about how it works.

Wynncraft mobs are 100% custom plugin based, everything from equipment to spawn location and AI

They don't use spawner blocks, like you'd find in a dungeon in vanilla MC

Nobody really knows, but it's probably what @ThaUnknown_ said. A similar plugin would be "CustomMobs" on spigot (if that thing is still alive)

It was definitely like he said, I've seen a screenshot of a mob spawn sign in Katoa's Ranch, it was mean to spawn a cow. Not sure who posted it but maybe it's gone... I think it has been posted before the forum crash thing back in September 2015.

i remeber when zombie dungeon under the tree was still a thing, there was a thing where there was a block missing and under it was a sign, that happened multiple times in said dungeon

A long time ago, if you went to the top of one of the Ice Islands mountain, you could see one of these signs through ice.

We don't use spawners or signs, we use a custom plugin now.

    hmm
Some interesting facts tho that don't answer the question

Each mob actually might be 2 mobs

if you pay attention to the game you can see armor stands tping across the sky,
[or perhaps its just laggy me]

    This might have 2 uses.
Naming the mobs with custom colors and symbols [IMG]
I recreated this with armor stands

2, Tping mobs around for spawn
    [unlikely tho]

its actually 4 entities per mob, the mob itself, its name [no its not displayed as the mobs name its a seperate entity], its health, and another mostly invisible entity [this one can be easiest to see on guards]
