Bottom. I don't want to deal with some asshole throwing fir at me, or some fuck crushing me to deth with earth.

 

I begin writing:

I walk over to the pedestal and inspect it.

 

On top of the pedestal lies a bottle. Held within it is a liquid of pure silver, gently sloshing. As you pick it up, a man in a cultist robe walks into the cathedral behind you guys.
He looks incredibly shocked for a moment before regaining his composure.

"I... I would put my glorious work down if you wish to breathe another day."

You're walking down past the fifth floor when somebody in a green cloak flies out of the hallway. The guy smashes into you, nearly knocking you down, out, and off the stairs. You're winded.

"I am Okrgath, Mage of Wood."
"Oak, Spruce, Redwood, Fir, it is all under my command. It would do you well if you sat still while I killed you."

From what you can see in his side pocket, it's mostly Fir he deals with.
Might want to get ready for a fight though.

 

I look over at him and...

Leon: "..And who would you be? What if I drop this right now and smite you?"

 

Eradius:"Do you also deal in morning wood?" I stab him with both daggers. One in stomach, other in genitals.

 

Well, that's great. I have to weigh things: Is Vesuia gets injured, I may have to use my energy to heal her anyway, considering she's the only combat-ready person we have. However, me healing myself allows me to fight and lowers the risk of one of us getting hurt... Hmm...

 

Most of his face is blanketed in shadow, but you can't shake off the feeling that he's staring into your soul.

A massive tree suddenly sprouts out of the (Non OSHA Compliant) stairs, knocking you off of them. You're falling... all the way down to the first floor.

Actually I had an evil plan this time. Kinda.

Adventurer 1: "We ain't got any. Try the next valley over. You can just get into Eood via the river, but that place is upriver, so you need to use a mountain pass to get there. A week, at the very least."

I go out of the tavern and I look for a way to make some money

 

Leon: "I was denied that a long time ago. You cannot strike fear in someone who has seen it all."

I raise my mace, slam it into the ground, lift it back up and look where his face should be.

"The infinity does not forgive. Cowardice is sin."

I inch closer. I slam the mace into the ground again.

"Let us dance."

I ready the mace.

 

You're on the street outside the tavern. You can see the lord's manor, up on a hill a couple minutes to your right. Straight ahead, you can see docks, low to the river, winding as far as you can see. Past the river, in the far distance, you can see a mountain range. Behind you, past the tavern, lies the giant forest. All around you, men and women of all ages shuffle around doing peasantry things. One this street alone, you see an armorer, a magic shop, and and a bakery.

"You burst into here, threaten me and my work, and act like you are in the right? I will feel no pity when you die. Field."

A flash goes through the entire cathedral. You don't feel an effect, at least not yet..?

 

Leon: "Explain yourself."

 

"Really, now? Do I need to do that? Or should I spend this time doing something more worthwhile? Elemental Ward. Iron Skin. Magic Barrier. 30 Minute Energy Multiplier [x2]. True Seeing. Heighten Reflex. Heighten Strength. Heighten Agility. Summon Monster III. Summon Monster III. Summon Monster V."
As he casts each spell, almost at lightning speed, various shields and effects appear on him. His eyes are now slightly visible, glowing white. Two demonic monsters appear out of the ground, roughly 4 feet tall, followed by one nearly 10 feet tall and much more dangerous-looking.

 

This is an obvious attempt to make us leave, (so I'll go ahead and do so.

I flee up the stairs, taking the bottle.

 

I wait for both Leon and Thorston to leave, then I follow. I use War Scream to destroy the ceiling of the stairs behind us. Should monsters come before I can destroy the ceiling, I knock them away with Bash.
