I exit the bunk room.

 

You see Aj talking to Emerald.

 

"I was wondering if you know much about the process of bringing Ihra out of Xlentia's heart." I say.

 

"Like I said, Sgavrinn gets distracted easily and I lost him for a few seconds. And he wanted to rest up a bit before leaving."

 

"You will be using a gate to Oblivion to remove Xlentia's heart, separate it and Ihra, and then return both. Seperated."

"Fair enough. He's not lost, is he?"

 

"And what dangers does a gate to Oblivion bring?" I ask.

 

"The fact that it could just start pulling everything in around it to nonexistence."

 

"No, no. He went back to his owner."

 

"So how are we supposed to separate Ihra and Xlentia's heart?" I ask.

 

"That's pretty easy. Just takes someone to monitor the ritual on the outside."

"...Are you sure he didn't get lost going back? He seemed... dumb."

 

"He said he knew the way back."

 

"So it does it automatically?" I ask.

 

"If he comes back, we'll know if he's not lying."

"Pretty much."

 

"Yeah." He chuckles. "Can't wait."
He turns to Keela.
"While I was gone, did I maybe miss anything?"

 

"That fox came back. She stuck her tongue out at me and kept on walking."

 

"So what could possibly go wrong when we do it?" I ask, writing a few notes down.

 

"She's really looking for trouble."
*sigh*
"I'll see what I can do. But I won't take her pelt if you're wandering."

 

"We could kill Xlentia, or Ihra, or both. Or we could all die."

"I think she was just rubbing it in at this point. We can't beat a kitsune."

 

"Chances of that happening?" I ask, writing down a few things before looking up.

 

"If there's any interference, guaranteed."
