Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Did he wander off again?!"
He goes looking for him.
"Sgavrinn!"

 

"Yeah, Lucy. She's as much of a flirter as she is a monster. Took the bones and flesh of her fallen foes, and made them her own... every shred of her beauty is a weapon."


Xlentia yawns, pushing Maria back a bit.

Just one, where someone's learning how to handle a lance.
Nobody else, otherwise.

...No response.
After a few minutes, no sign of him, either.

 

"Oh no, Ragnyon is gonna kill me!"
He tries to climb on top off some walls to get a better view.
"SGAVRINN!"

 

"Our ruler is sort of the opposite. He's just bones under a cloak," Jennifer explains, "Tough bones, though. He's already dead, and anything that touches him dies instantly, even gods."


Maria is caught off guard, and ends up falling over.

 

He starts descending, having flown off.

"How fun..."


"Huh? More visitors?" Xlentia asks.

 

"He's pretty grim most of the time, but he has a good heart," Jennifer says, "Metaphorically."


"Oh, uh, hey!" Maria says innocently.

 

(So, he's flying away? This sentence confused me)

 

I take the time to observe him.

 

"Not much like Lucy..."

"Hello, little mortal! Hey... wait, you were one of the two from earlier! Is something wrong?"

He's now flying towards you.

He's barely strong enough to hold it, though he slowly becomes less shaky as his instructor goes.

 

Jennifer shrugs.


"Um, not really. I've just heard a lot about this 'vault'..." Maria says innocently.

 

"Oh.."
He grabs the letter.
"I need you to bring this to Ragnyon."

 

"Well... what else did you want to talk about?"


"Done. Go see it. I'll have Emerald show you it." Xlentia says happily.

He nods, carefully taking it in his mouth.

 

"Thank you. I'll see you around."
He waves Sgavrinn goodbye

 

He nuzzles you, flying off again.

 

Bardock returns to his pack.

 

I keep watching, taking notes for myself.

 

"I'm not sure, it was just nice to have a conversation with someone new!" Jennifer says happily.


"Oh, where should I find her?" Maria asks.

 

Keela glances at you.
"That took all day."

"Well, perhaps you should go find your partner. She's getting a rare look to check out Xlentia's vault."

"Why don't you go with your friend and see what she's up to?"


"She's waiting in the hallway."

There aren't many notes to take; they're far worse than Crystal, when you watched him.

 

"Oh, ok." Jennifer says, before hastily running off in search of Maria.

 

I keep watch anyways, seeing what he does.
