Bardock looks at what pushed him, then tries to go back to sleep.

 

"That's my idea... besides, the outside world is... brutal. It's... it's like everything's broken, and the rest of us are living on shards."

It's Keela.
"What the hell are you doing bringing a dragon into our territory?! We'll get chased off!" She snaps, watching you and Sgavrinn carefully.

 

"...I've found that a lot the shards are actually big enough to live on."
Voidfiller comments.
"Some are certainly smaller, some are closer, and some can break at any moment. But a lot, you can live on."

 

"I'd like to make sure the shard we've lived on remains. We've preserved it this long; surely we can continue to hold out?"

 

I send several more pyroblasts as close as possible to her without missing her just as a Terrae materializes behind her and stabs her.

 

"That probably depends on if a guy that goes by the name of 'The Hive Master' succeeds or not."

 

"He brought me home. I think he'll leave tomorrow."
He looks at Keela.
"I met that Kitsune princess today. Asked her why she was in our territory."

 

I cross my arms and go quiet, looking away.


The pair jump, startled.

"Hey, it's not cool to sneak up on people like that!" Jennifer says.

 

"Thank you for not coughing up the volatiles, Muffy."
She walks up and rubs against your foot, purring.


"I've been here the whole time."
"...She has." Rineth chuckles.

"Well...? What excuse did she have? And did you bring us back her pelt?"

As the attacks increase, she doesn't reform.

You've got two more minutes to catch her.

"I heard about him... And I, uh... made a deal with him. For our abstainence from the battle, he will leave us alone."

 

I eventually pet Muffy a bit.


"You still shouldn't scare people like that though." Maria says, crossing her arms.

 

"Alright."
Voidfiller doesn't seem to mind.
"That's the safer option, I can't blame you for taking it."

 

"...No grudges?"


"I'm not as bad as most of my sisters."
"There's one who could be listening in on us right now and we'd never know." Rineth comments.

I shake my head.


"What a creep." Jennifer comments.

 

"Aj? I won't. He doesn't even know of me yet, I don't think."

 

"Well... she was trying to visit some friends and didn't know she was crossing our territory."
Pause.
"And no.. I don't have her pelt."

 

"All in good fun, right?" She chuckles.


"Hey, be reasonable. Now, let me address the first abnormality here - you're probably wondering why you're in a hallway that's wide enough to fit a city. Am I correct, or no?"

"Works for me..."
Pause.
"Well, I would assume you had more than two questions."

 

"Yeah." I say, shrugging.


"It does seem pretty big." Maria admits.

 

"Well.. I saw no reason in harming her."

 

"Uh... yeah."
Voidfiller says, remembering something.
"So, when did you start this town?"

 

Linoa just smiles, Muffy trying to grapple onto your shoulder.


"Well, there's a certain goddess I'd like you to meet. You aren't scared of dragons, are you?" Emerald asks as Rineth heads down the hall.

"I can't remember the exact date. It dates back to the reign of the Lost Kingdom, though."
