Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I jump back, out of the range of the shockwaves.


The incubus lets the gate shut, before heading back to where he was waiting before.

 

"Hey."
Voidfiller says, keeping his gills.
"So you're this goddess of storms?"

 

Peridot stares you down.

Muffy tries to grapple her way up into the skeletal figure's booth.

"Yes, I am Keila. You wanted to meet me?"

 

I stare right back at Peridot, shurikens appearing in my other hand.


The arena is incredibly tall, the skeletal figure's throne not even visible behind the wall of the arena.

 

"Yeah. I wanted to meet you, ask you some questions."

 

"Ruby's weapons are powerless here."

Muffy grapples up anyways, knowing which angle to go up.

"Well... what's your first question?"

 

I ignore Peridot, throwing the shurikens toward him, one arcing left, another right and the third straight toward Peridot.


It takes a long while to grapple up the wall, and the higher Muffy gets, the more dangerous the fall becomes.

 

"Glad you understand."
He pets Sgavrinn on his head and continues walking.

 

As he warned, they just kind of bounce off and warp back to your hand.


She continues on anyways.

Sgavrinn continues following, falling silent after a while.

 

"Okay, I think we're almost near the forest."
More walking.

 

Frustrated, I put the shurikens away, waiting for Peridot.


One of the half-human half-spider creatures from before waves to Muffy as she walks up the side of the arena, moving much faster than her.

 

He's still silent.

He simply turns and stares at the skeletal figure.


She grapples onto the spider.

 

"Something wrong, Sgavrinn? Are you scared maybe?"
He comforts Sgavrinn

 

The figure seems as emotionless as before.


The spider picks Muffy up, carrying her as she climbs to the top of the colosseum.

 

Peridot simply stares.


Muffy rubs up against them, purring a bit before jumping off after they reach the top.

Sgavrinn shakes his head after hesitating, humming upon being pet.

 

The figure seems unmoved, though the crowd quietens down.


The spider stays where she is, watching the fight.

 

Peridot soon points above the skeletal figure, still staring.


Muffy positions herself over the throne, looking down to make sure the skeletal figure's actually there.

 

We continue towards the forest. Eventually we stand on the border between Aurilon and the forest.

 

The figure doesn't look up.


The skeletal figure is still in his throne, oblivious to Muffy.

 

Sgavrinn doesn't seem willing to follow you in.

Peridot sighs.


Muffy scoots over and relieves herself onto the skeletal figure.
