Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Cats are pretty evil. I've seen it myself." The creature says.

 

Muffy hisses as Peridot marches on.

 

"Don't get distracted, okay?"
He looks at the smaller island.
"North east, remember?"

 

"Cats down here, really." The creature says, one of it's eyes turning around to look at Muffy.

 

He nods, going straight...

The edge of the mainland is in view far to the left.

Muffy's grapply tongue is dragging Linoa along, as silent as Peridot.

 

"I'm surprised there's a sort of civilisation down here." Stephanie says.

"Well, we all have a same sort of goal of torturing anyone that belongs here that came from outside of here, so friendships between some of us ended up creating our own community." The creature explains.

"What do you personally do here?" Stephanie asks.

"I mostly just rip people and eat whatever they've got inside them. I especially like human lungs." The creature says.

Stephanie gives the creature a nervous look.

"What? You're just visiting here, aren't you? Got no reason to harm you at all." The creature says happily.

 

Voidfiller doesn't seem to mind, just putting back any blown cards.

 

"This is hell, Stephanie. Expect mutilation."

It just keeps watching, not actually doing anything.

 

Voidfiller continues to play, waiting for the girl to wake.

 

"The best place to go if you want pain from your head to your toe!" The creature says cheerily.

 

"You hellspawn are as strange as ours."
Muffy leaves Linoa to Peridot as she jumps onto the creature.
"Mrow."

She does, an hour later.
"Mmnn... good afternoon, Kai..." She yawns.

 

Voidfiller stays silent, but the wood and cards disappear.

 

"Oh, hello." The creature says, moving it's eyes to look directly at Muffy.

 

"I think that's our destination."
Bardock points at his view.

 

She seems a bit startled once she sees him.
"U-uhm... hello... can I help you?"

Muffy stares into its eye, starting to devour its thoughts and memories before Peridot takes Muffy away from it.
"Don't brainwash our guide, furball."

Sgavrinn turns, still a bit confused.

By the time you land, it's getting dark, and you're on the opposite side of Aurilon from the forest.

 

"Told you cats were evil." The creature says, smirking.

 

"Its owner would beg to differ, but she's a bit out of it right now."
"Mrow."

 

"I guess she can't handle hell that well hm?" The creature asks.

 

"Clearly not. So... how do I enter to fight once we get there? And I may as well take the cat with me..."

 

"Yeah."
Voidfiller says, walking towards the raft.
"Name's Voidfiller, nice to meet you."
