Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Linoa heads over as well.


He finds a note at his foot -
"After your king returns, I expect to see you back here."

 

Stephanie waits on the island expectantly.


The being shoves the note in his pocket, ripping it in half in the process accidentally due to his immense strength.


Shadow Stephanie leads Peridot back to the palace and into one of the elevators, taking him to the portal room.

 

Linoa sits down, petting Muffy.


Peridot just keeps following her.

Shadow Stephanie types in commands for a bit before a portal opens, slightly fuzzy at first before it seems to open fully.

"Head on through." Shadow Stephanie says, waving Peridot through the portal.

 

He does as told, looking around.

It doesn't notice him, simply circling the barrier as fast as it can.

 

Voidfiller looks closer, seeing if it does anything other than circle it.

 

Upon closer inspection, it appears to be chasing its tail.

 

Voidfiller sighs, going closer and attempting to enter its mind.

 

He's able to, but it's very, very, VERY focused on chasing its tail.

 

Experimentally, Voidfiller rises a rock wall in front of the serpent.

 

"A compass would have been useful."
...
"South west?"

 

It bashes through it, a bit of confusion going through its mind before it stops completely.

He sighs, pointing himself in a direction and looking back at you.
He is pointing southwest currently.

 

Voidfiller manipulates it to lead its thoughts away from its tail.

 

It seems to settle down, then go into deep thought.
Seems it's on to the fact Voidfiller's trying to manipulate it. Now is either the time to commit to manipulating it, or to bail.

 

Voidfiller stops manipulating it before carefully prying around in its memories to see if there's anything of importance.

 

The only recurring memory (other than feasting) is of a girl in a blue dress, who usually rides the Leviathan.
That's likely the sister in reference.

 

Voidfiller exits the creature's mind, quickly coming out of the water.

 

"That's south west?"
...
"Well, we need to go in north east direction. So turn 180 degrees."

 

Stephanie seems to be waiting on the other side, smiling.

"Hey, Peridot." Stephanie says happily.
