Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Peridot?" Stephanie asks.

 

"Exactly. Built in opponents, too. Should be easy to convince."

 

"Mother probably has a portal to hell ready by now too." Stephanie says, calming down.

 

"So, we go get your Shadow to retrieve Peridot, and get Praecantatia to let us in?"

 

Stephanie nods, agreeing.

 

"Alright, can you reach out to your shadow? I've got a trace back to your mother's, so I can... well, know what we're getting into."

 

Stephanie puts a hand to her head, focusing again.

A few moments later, Stephanie removes her hand.

"She's going to go get Peridot for me." Stephanie says.

 

"So, we should just go back to your mother's and rendezvous?"


Peridot finishes off another opponent, stoic and tireless as ever.
"What part of worthy are we forgetting?" He sighs, moving the scraps aside.

 

Stephanie nods.


"Yo, Peridot!" Shadow Stephanie calls as she approaches.

 

Muffy knocks over a vase.
...
"MUFFY!" Linoa shouts, furious as she runs inside.


He turns.
"Are you my next challenger, or is it due time I provide Aj with feedback?"

 

Stephanie just waits for Linoa to be ready to leave.


"No, and sort of yes. There's a colosseum in hell you need fight in, with probably tougher opponents." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

She comes back with Muffy.
"Thanks, Kiin."
"Bye missus Stephanie!"


"So, I go and fight there, then come back for Aj?" He asks, suddenly more attentive.

 

Stephanie waves to Kiin, smiling as she offers her right hand for Linoa.


"Aj is currently fighting there." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

She takes it, holding Muffy tightly.


"Convenient. Will I be fighting him?"

 

Stephanie teleports herself, Linoa and Muffy back to Praecantatia's islands, though the journey takes a short while.


"Probably." Shadow Stephanie says, shrugging.

 

Linoa waits.


"Perfect. Sign me up." Peridot says, nodding.

 

Linoa eventually arrives on one of the grassy islands, though there appears to be a new island floating above the inner islands. It seems to be made entirely of stone, though an evil presence emanates from it.


"Just come with me back to the palace." Shadow Stephanie says, turning to leave.

 

She summons her staff, Muffy's first reaction to sniff at the portal after grappling to it.


Peridot follows, ignoring anyone else who may have a robot.

 

Voidfiller carefully goes towards the sea serpent.

 

The portal smells like blood, Stephanie gesturing for Linoa to follow Muffy as she waits on the island.


Most of the crowd of competitors seem to have already got the message, dissipating. An incredibly strong and sweaty being seems to be rather annoyed as he leaves, his simple looking humanoid robot following him, emotionless.
