Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Okay. So, just sit here?"

"I'm not keen on letting you in. Try one of my sisters... it'll be tough to miss her Leviathan."

 

"Wherever is comfortable for you." Stephanie says, smiling kindly.

 

Kiin nods, then just waits, confused.

 

Stephanie closes her eyes, putting her hands to her head as she focuses, breathing slowly.

 

"Good. First of, we need to fly in northeast direction, across the sea."

 

There seems to still be a residual link, though Kiin just sits there, confused.

He draws a circle in the dirt, then puts a claw in the middle and looks at you.

 

Stephanie tries creating a link through Kiin.

 

Kiin's oblivious to the process, though the only way for it to work is for Mortius to accept it... it seems to be fine otherwise.

 

Stephanie starts to breathe quickly, her skin paling before she collapses onto the floor, unconscious.

 

Worried, Kiin walks over and puts a hand to her forehead.

 

Stephanie feels cold.

 

Kiin, confused, sits down next to her and waits.

 

Stephanie lies still, pale and cold, for a long while.

 

Kiin looks to Linoa, who checks if Stephanie made the connection or not.

 

There seems to be a connection of sorts, though it seems to be direct instead of through Kiin.

 

Linoa attempts to intrude on the connection they have, curious.

 

Linoa can't seem to even touch the connection, though her attempts make her feel weak, like her very life and soul was being torn from her body.

 

She leaves her be, giving up.

 

Stephanie lays where she is for about an hour, before colour begins to return to her skin.

 

"So am I not allowed to see the Storm Goddess?"
