Suddenly a second water snake rises up next to @AlexisPlay. It's struggling, as Alas has it by the tail.

It attacks it's unforuntate captor, hitting, doing a whole 13 damage, and brining Alas into the water snake itself! Yet somehow Alas still has hold of the tail.

I just realized how strong these guys are... and the encounter could have had a whole 8 of them! (1d8, rolled a 2)

Okay... How should I deal with this...

I guess I'll fire an arrow at Weird 1.

Attack: 11 + 3 DEX + 2 Prof. = 16
Damage: 3 + 3 DEX = 6 Piercing Damage

I'll also run behind the chest. If I can make a stealth check to hide:
15 + 3 DEX + 2 Prof. = 20

 

They're bound to this little pond though, so fleeing wouldn't be super difficult.

Also, Kobold Fight Club considers this a Deadly encounter, unless more party members join in.
