Generic Fantasy - [5/7]

You have a small bag, so you're capable of holding the first 3 items. Grabbing them, you leave the house and set off towards the town.

 

Ohh, okay. Makes sense.

Do we reach the forest?

 

It's a couple minutes, but soon you're standing in front of a crumbling stone arch. Past it lies the forest, with a worn path winding through it. You can only see 20 or so feet in before it's too dark to look any further.

 

oh good i know where the towns at

 

"So, there's the forest."

 

I gesture towards the forest and begin walking down the path.

 

I follow.

 

I explore the place. And ready my sleep spell if another indestructable fuck comes around.

You feel normal as you enter the forest, but 10 feet in, an overwhelming pressure hits you like a truck. Glowing red eyes are appearing in spaces between trees. Silhouettes of giant horrors lumber between the gaps.

She's cast at least 13 spells of protection on her robes, and she's dug out a large wooden stave from her smaller bag, somehow.
Vesuia: "I'm ready. You?"

 

"Gah! I'm not so sure about this anymore..."

 

Lazarus: "Quite a bit of preparation."

I put a couple of throwing knives on a belt, ready my katana to be drawn, and take out my spellbook.

Lazarus: "I am ready."

 

I roar, and it sounds almost metallic and shriek-ish. (Idk if this counts as intimidation, or a battle cry to boost morale?)

After that, I swing my mace forward into the ground and ready to fight.

 

You keep walking. The fighting near the top of the tower appears to have been stopped, the room with the broken window no longer on fire. Good sign?
After a bit, you're at the large gates of the tower. They're huge, and you cannot move them at all. Luckily for you, there's a small gap in the door that you guys can fit through.
The tower looks to be a bunch of circular halls stacked on top of each other with rooms on either side. You cannot hear anybody on this floor.

 

I draw my sword.

 

A horrifically mutated blob of flesh in the shape of a bear comes shooting out of the trees, straight at the 3 of you.

 

I slam my mace into it.

 

Have I made it to the town yet?

 

The beast erupts in blood. However, within a second, more growths appear on its body, "healing" it.

It's a while, but you make it to the town.
