Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Sgavrinn starts walking down into the valley.
"So, what's your home like?"

Linoa looks for the door as Muffy tries to use her tongue to grapple (and eat) a seagull.

 

The seagulls prove too fast for Muffy, flying away before she has a chance to grab one.

Stephanie walks down the beach to the shore, taking out a mage crystal and channeling magic into it. The mage crystal creates a watery bubble around Stephanie, and she walks into the ocean.

 

Linoa just swims after her, Muffy opting to try and grab a fish instead.

 

"The forest or Aurilon?"

 

"Either one. I've been to neither."

 

Stephanie floats down to what appears to be a large underwater palace, though she doesn't appear to be getting wet at all.

Muffy manages to catch a fish, though the other fish it was with swim away.

 

"Well, the forest is just as you would expect. Only there are places you shouldn't go to when don't know your way around the forest."
Pause
"But it's still a good place to live though."

 

Linoa stays just outside of her bubble.
"So, what... do you think they just left Kiin in here?"

Muffy eats it whole, though some sort of spines in her throat rip it to bits as she swallows.

"Territorial animals?"

 

Stephanie shrugs, floating down to the front door and knocking on it.

 

"Could be. All I know is that no one ever returned when they went too deep."

Crystal seems to have stuck with Praecantatia, watching her work.

 

"Mommy told me not to let anyone in..." Kiin says, muffled by the door.

"Strange. I'll consider giving it a look later."

 

"Be sure to visit when you do." He chuckles.

 

Praecantatia seems to be gathering materials from around her home, stone slabs and red chalk, as well as a few skulls and some vials containing red liquid.

"I'm a friend of Katie's." Stephanie says.

 

Crystal just shifts around, exploring a bit.

 

The house appears to be quite large, though in terms of room numbers rather than the actual size of it now. Crystal finds a few interesting rooms, one containing a workbench with multiple small gadgets and creations, the living room looks rather comfortable to watch some TV on, and there appears to be a quite technologically advanced room filled with screens, terminals, keyboards and gadgets.

 

Crystal tries making his way back to the elevator.

 

The elevator is quite easy to get to, and Crystal can reach the numbered buttons to change floors now.

 

Crystal checks the labels on the buttons, and how many there are.

 

There seem to be six buttons, numbered from 0 at the top to five at the very bottom. Each label has a small graphic on it, the 0 label having what looks to be a picture of the large tree on it while the 5 button has what looks like a large blue mage crystal, each button between seeming to show a descent into the ground.
