Generic Fantasy - [5/7]

Robert: "Nod your head if the x on the mouth means "Oops", if not shake your head."

 

I shake my head and pull out pen and paper.

I gesture towards the paper.

 

I walk over and look at the paper.

 

I write on the paper in a very neat, almost royal, handwriting.

"I am a foreigner. I don't know how I got here, but I do know that the forest over there is dangerous. I am looking to see what I can do to stop it. This place seems like it is fine, but if not stopped, the forest and its forces could expand and destroy this city."

 

Robert: "Ah I can see why you thought I might have been a foe or a force of the forest. Especially with how I fell out of the sky. Might I join you on your adventure?"

 

As I run out I cast small fire bolts at the remaining cultists

 

"Fire bolt!"
All the cultists are bunched together for some reason, and they're all wearing cloth.
One bonfire ensues.
You have slain [12 Cultists]!

 

Was that all of them?

 

All of them lie in a fiery heap.

 

Well then let the looting begin

 

Unfortunately, the charred and burnt corpses contain nothing of value.

 

Ok then I start investigating the house I'm in

 

The house seems pretty much normal. There's a few other weapons in the kitchen and scattered around the house, but for the most part these guys were low-key and the only semi-suspicious things are some boxes you find upstairs.

 

I'll look trough the boxes maybe something useful is in them

 

I start writing on the paper again (same handwriting).

"Of course you can, more force will help. I will kindly ask you to be the one who does the speaking. Let us go, into the forest."

The appearance of the very tall knight:
Equipped fully in armor, no "skin" is visible. Wears very odd (almost futuristic) armor. Wears a large cape that looks to be covered with stars and all sorts of odd space stuff.. they move around as if alive in the cloth. Once again, very out of the ordinary size. Carries a large mace that seems to have the same texture of space stuff very lightly etched into the spikes. Carries a large pack across his shoulder, and it seems empty. The plume atop the helmet has the same design as the cape.

 

You search a bunch of boxes. In most of them are medical supplies, but a few have suspicious items.

Flipping it open, on the surface it appears to be a guide on how to efficiently run an organization, but you realize that it's actually a guide on how to run an efficient cult. It contains a lot of genre-savvy tips.

The pendant looks like it is made of gold and is rather large, and it has a keyhole on the front. Won't open, though.

 

Team A. has a plan now. They will eradicate the forest of any threats to the nearby city.
