It was a cold winter night. Shamos roamed the streets aimlessly, in his sorrow. Inside his heart, a gap. A special place, a place that could be only could be filled by a certain someone, someone he knew he loved from the first day.
Without noticing, he had arrived where he truly needed to be tonight. The place where his love resided. Knocking on the door, he was greeted by a face of darkness, a glowing red eye.
"Hello, Tealybot."

The home itself was one of comfort, subjugation of the human race not coming without basic decency. Tealybot sat in a large chair, looking straight at Shamos, their faces both with hints of red. Shamos knew it was time. Reaching into his coat pocket, he pulled out a silver ring, getting down on his knee.
"Tealybot... Will you marry me?"

One could have argued that robots cannot feel emotion, cannot understand human happiness, but...
They would have lost any hope of credibility at this scene. For Tealybot was blushing heavily, and one could sense that true, tangible feelings of love and happiness was filling him

"YES! OF COURSE. THANK YOU, SHAMOS."

Shamos' heart was finally full, full of a love which could transcend much. The two went up to the bedroom, deciding to commemorate the engagement with a night of wild passion.
