"Ruby."

Ragnyon's spirit starts leaving the library, waiting for you at the entry.

 

Bardock opens the library doors and goes outside, then closes them.

 

"She's another one of you too?" Shadow Stephanie asks, "...What are you?"

 

"Okay. If you say so."
I turn, starting to walk off.

 

"We're called Shatters. Kind of like how Fragments represent the gods? Well... Shatters represent Fragments. For each Fragment, there's a Shatter. We're more powerful than those we represent, but we share an aspect. Only downside is, we're all rather free-spirited and seldom take sides."

Ragnyon's now standing, whispering something to Sgavrinn.
"Okay, I told him how to get you back home. Hopefully this messy war of ours doesn't spill into your home."

"Check on Crystal for me, if you would. I last saw him in the training room."

 

"Do you have even more powerful splinters, and they have even more powerful bits, and they have even more powerful particles?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

 

"Ehe.. I hope so. You coming too?"
He carefully gets on Sgavrinn's back.

 

"Oh, okay. Is he by himself?"

 

"Stop poking fun of what we're named. I could always tell Ruby."

"...No."

Pause.
"Sure, what's a few more visions?" She asks, getting on behind you as Sgavrinn walks to the portal room.

 

"...Then why do you want me to check on him?"

 

"Because he isn't alone."

 

"I'm sure a pile of ashes would love to hear that." Shadow Stephanie says sarcastically.

 

"Oh, she's more than a pile of ashes." Sivius chuckles.

 

Shadow Stephanie sighs, "I know. I shouldn't be rude about another of your kind," She says, "She's more to you than her literal form."

 

"No, I mean, she's literally not just a pile of ashes anymore."

 

I think for a few moments.
"Okay."
I say, then start walking off towards the training room.

 

"What?" Shadow Stephanie asks, confused.

 

"She's been brought back."

The door's wide open.

 

"What!? By who!?" Shadow Stephanie asks, shocked and angry.

 

"I don't know. Still, isn't it ironic that the king killed Vei and the queen killed her Shatter? I don't know how Ihra puts that aside..."
