Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Emerald opens her mouth, then stops, shaking her head.

"...Talk to Sivius."

She stomps, throwing up an earthen pillar to block the beam as she fires an arrow into the ground.

 

"You think he's got some insight on this?"
I infer.

 

"Some is an understatement. I think he's hanging out in the cryostasis room - he was when I came back from trying to restore a backup of Abigail's data."

 

"All right."
I nod.
"I'll be headed there, then."
I turn and start leaving.

 

She waves you off, turning and gripping her forehead.

 

I wave as well, continuing to look at her as I exit.

 

She teleports away, clearly disturbed.

 

I make my way to the cryostasis room, looking for Sivius.

 

He's meditating near the entry, though he stops as the door opens.
"Oh, good. You're one of the ideal people to cross my path right now." He says, standing up.

 

"Oh?"
I say, stopping and turning my attention towards him.
"And how's that?"

 

"I need you to get Shadow Stephanie to come here."

 

"Care to elaborate?"

 

"Not really. Mostly, she doesn't have hard feelings against you. Buuuut, you didn't come here for that. What can I help you with?"

 

"Emerald said you had insight on Abigail's situation."

 

"Then she's delusional. I haven't bothered checking on her situation since I saw her hauled in."

 

"Well, we were talking about motives, and then she just stopped and said to talk to you. I don't take her as the delusional type."

 

"Then it was probably about the Shatter who killed her."

 

"The Shatter? That's what they're called?"

 

"That is what we're called, yes."

 

"Strange, they didn't seem much like you. What makes you like them?"
