No response.
However, you see her float out of the wall, in a ghostly form.
"I told you I'd be waiting for you."

 

The forest gets surprisingly cold at night, the warmth of the home seeming more desirable the longer Sapphire spends outside.

 

"I realized she died, but sabotaged? And how incomplete?"

 

Bardock jumps after seeing the ghost.
"Wha.. w-what? Are you.. dead?"

 

The arrow aimed at me explodes midair.

"I see. Very interesting ability you have there." A voice echoes in her mind.

Several Terraes appear surrounding her, thrusting their daggers in her.

 

This doesn't bother her at all, quickly dozing off in response to the cold as frost outlines a ring of thread around her.

She keeps using her escape ability, flowing around attacks thrown at her as she tries to land a shot.

"No, but I can move around on my own a lot better this way."

"She only has a heart and her skin and skeleton. She lacks other organs... as for the sabotage, the Hive Master had a worm that somehow got past me."

 

"How did you..?"

 

Not long after morning, Sapphire is woken up by something warm and soft rubbing up against her.

 

She holds out a spectral hand.
"Please, allow me to give you vision into... another plane."

She opens her eyes, tired, though she keeps still in an attempt not to scare whatever it is.

 

"Um.. Okay."
Bardock carefully takes Ragnyon's hand

 

A familiar black cat seems to have sat down next to Sapphire, leaning on her and purring.

 

"Huh. Do you think it's possible to get her back together?"

 

She reaches over to pet her.
"Is that you, Onyx?"

"The... more problems we come across, the less and less likely it is." She sighs.

Ragnyon's spirit merges with you, and your vision goes dark before you can see outlines of things in the physical plane, and suddenly a few hundred spirits floating around, dozing off, reading, etc.
"This is the spiritual plane. Some people, like me, are able to control their spirit and their physical body separately.
...My separate body's just asleep."

 

"This is kind of weird. You know, talking to you without seeing you."
Pause
"Can I walk around?"

 

"You're on the physical plane, so yes. Just be mindful of walls."
Pause.
"Also, it's called telepathy. Many creatures have the ability to use it... few do. Stronger telepaths can communicate between planets, dimensions, or even entire realities."

 

Onyx meows, purring.

 

Bardock walks around a bit.
"Can I fly? Or is that too much?"

 

"You been okay, girl?"

"You can't. You're not in the spirit plane, I'm just letting you see it."

 

Onyx purrs, rubbing against Sapphire as she walks around her, tail upright as it waves idly.

 

"Ah.. that's too bad."
Bardock looks around.
"Do you know any of these people?"
