Old New Player Help

So I haven't played on this server for like, 2-3 years. I'm trying to re-identify my bow, but it says it has already been identified, but when I try to use it it still says it hasn't been identified.

He has a bobs mythic bow
You can't id them

 

So what does that mean for me? I just don't get a legendary weapon?

 

There are a few excellent alternatives to Bob's Mythic which you can easily find on the Trade Market section of the forums.

*Maelstrom is a good choice legendary bow.

 

That's kind of lame I just lose something I paid for, is this a bug or did they just remove bob's bow?

 

You get Bob's Bow from completing the quest Reincarnation, so it was completely free! Bob's Bow comes pre-identified, so you cannot re-identify it.

 

But I can't use it so that seems a bit lame that an end level quest gives a reward which cannot be used?

 

So the bow is unidentified, but it is a Bob's Mythic, so you cannot identify it... hmm.

Unfortunate, yes, but there are plenty of options out there and it's not that big of a deal.

 

Hey there. I too returned to the server recently for the same period of absence as you. Yeah it's unfortunately not possible to re-ID that item. Things had to be changed around to accommodate for the massive update such as Gavel and a reworking of how items and quests work. You can learn more about what you've missed on this thread here. My suggestion to you would be to be on the lookout for shouts of people doing CSST and do as much of that as you can, which will quickly boost your levels. After that you will quickly start to get items around your new level range that will do well for you until you find even better legendaries, or even the illusive mythic! CSST is a dungeon and you can read about it on the Help page. Also since I'm still returning just as you I am unsure of this but, your end game gear may be quite valuable now! The level cap is now 101 so Wynn end-game is no longer diamond. My first few days playing a lot of people were asking me how I was a level 75 wearing diamond so that's something to keep in mind.
