Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I land in front of the entrance, next to you.

 

"You didn't, but you're siding with those who did."

They're both there, but only bones remain of the boy.


"Thanks... I need to get back. Sorry for the lack of notice."

 

"My wolf friends? They just wanted to teach you a lesson for trespassing."

 

Artemis snags the tomes, looking around after.


Myria takes Katie inside.

"Best of luck." Myria says, closing the door.

 

Odd distortions appear in her peripheral vision, and the crystal eye on both tomes stare straight into her.


Rineth warps back.

"So this whole mess and you hating me is because of a misunderstanding? I told you, I didn't know it was their territory. I wanted to get through the forest, and since the sun started to set, I tried to take the fastest path through. The rest you know."

 

Artemis leaves with the tomes, trying to stay upright.

"I got the tomes." Artemis announces, holding up the two tomes.

 

"I guess..."
Bardock stands up, letting her free.

 

All of the clones continue shuffling around, some of them teleporting, others preparing to get into formation. I myself disappear into the mass of clones.

 

She pauses, focusing as she aims her arrow straight ahead of her.

She sits down, facing you as she scratches behind her ear.
"Well, I guess we could try starting on a better foot. What's your name?"

They're not disorienting... yet, at least.

 

"Bardock. What's yours?"

 

I nod, seemingly ready to depart once you guys are.

 

"Anne."
Pause.
"Got any food?"

 

"Nope."
Pause
"I brought it back to where I rest."

 

"We should head back to Katie and Angela, so we can activate these tomes with them." I say.

 

Rineth approaches Angela.
"Hey... you holding up?"

"Oh... alright. Well, nice meeting you."

 

"Let's get a move on, then."
I say, jumping up into the air and hovering.

 

Angela shakes her head.

"This place is scary." Angela says nervously.

I pick Artemis up again, before flying off back in the direction we came.

 

I quickly follow suit.

 

Once I arrive at our previous location, Katie seems to be missing, and Angela seems to be talking to Rineth near to an uninviting pool of gross water.

 

"Uh-oh."
I comment, landing.
