Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Katie just tries to swim out of her tunnels before she passes out.

"You can if you want, but I wouldn't suggest it." I say, shrugging.

 

"Shall we make this reasonably fast?" I ask, summoning my scythe.

 

She barely gets out...

"Five minute limit?" They ask, nocking an arrow.

 

I just shake my head, staying silent.

 

"True, but killing innocents isn't an awnser. Killing your parents is even worse."

 

Katie crawls out of the entrance pool to the tunnels, too weak to change her tail back, before throwing up and passing out.

"Oh my god, Katie!" Angela says worriedly, kneeling down beside Katie and checking her pulse and breathing.

"Well, the sooner we get this relic the sooner I can get stuff sorted out I guess." I say, sighing.

 

"Very well. If I don't get you to cede in five minutes, I'll automatically surrender." I say, as copies of me appear all around the arena and start shuffling.

 

"Yeah. We could just fly there."
I stop walking.

 

I grow a pair of Shadow Wings and lift Artemis into my arms, before flying up slightly.

 

"Let's go."
I blast off, heading towards the lowlands.

 

"Oh, please. Anyone innocent got evacuated, and my parents chained me in that damn room anyways."

"Deal."

She's just sick...


Rineth links to Artemis.
"Hey, Katie found out the hard way that Ruin messes with water, too. Can you come get her to the respite?"

 

"I don't like your tone, princess~."

 

I follow, carrying Artemis.

"I can't really right now. Do you think you could take her back to Earth or something?" Artemis asks.

I quickly make my way towards the lowlands.

 

"Well, that sounds like a personal problem." She grunts.

"I'll... try. I don't know where she lives and I don't have clearance in the Shadow Palace." Rineth says.

Down on the lowlands, two splattered bodies' worth of remains lay on the lowlands, blood having seeped into the ground a bit.

 

"You could always bring her back to Mother. She'll look after her." Artemis says.

"That looks tasty." I comment.

 

"You know, your attitude really fits your ability to cast fire."
He chuckles.

 

"Again, don't know where any of you live. Only Alice."

"What, did you expect some stuck-up figurehead? Hah! Stupid foxes, never knowing how to deal with wolves... still irks me I'm half of an idiot."

 

"Can't you go back to where you just found us?" Artemis asks.

 

"I'm sure it does, but we might be able to use them."
I say, landing near the remains.
