Yeah I'm pretty sure the only way to fix it is Vivecraft plugin.

Also, you're awesome. The last time some VR player came they were super toxic about it when we said it wouldn't happen and it erupted into a flame war between r/Vive and Wynn. But yeah, at this moment that probably won't be changed since VR is not their main focus.

 

It works perfectly fine outside of vr, but occasionally it can be a little weird. You would just need to swap versions in that case.

 

That's because you're looking at software, which can be priced purely based on demand (no physical value, after all). You're also looking at a huge range of production value in games. That aside, though, hardware itself gets cheaper.

In 2008, these were the kind of desktops you were getting for 1k+
Nowadays, you can buy something with better specs for a fraction of the cost (even something like a chromebook would probably perform similarly).

As for VR, rather than general PC hardware, new cheaper and/or better headsets will be coming out in the next few years. Right now the market is still pretty limited to enthusiasts, because of the entry price. The next step for VR has to be broader consumer adoption through more affordable gear. Facebook is making a cheaper headset to come out before gen 2 of the rift, for $200 (price of a decent 1080p monitor, really). Microsoft is working on its own line of tech, manufactured through a few PC makers like Acer. Dubbed "Mixed Reality", it's basically VR with integrated sensors. The new products will make it easier for more people to try the tech. Besides, when new stuff comes out the old (and still perfectly good) hardware gets cheaper because it's not new anymore: especially on ebay.

As for the plugin, I tried running the resource pack in singleplayer and I had the same problem. The plugin should only fix potential minor locomotion/realism issues, as well as making it possible for people to see me flailing my arms. It really isn't necessary at all for players to enjoy wynn virtually.

That's easy enough, hopefully. What versions work?

VR for solo legendary island would be fun and u will die from brain tumor too but still fun

 

the thing is, you dont need to pay 1000 bucks to enjoy gaming
im with a nice computer which can easily run some games i play really commonly
if ur talking about hyperrealistic games who just focus on graphics and dont give a crap about gameplay... well i dont play these craps so idk what to say

Not saying you have to: you can run minecraft on a RPI after all. The page is to demonstrate that hardware gets better, gets cheaper, or both, and that VR will do the same.

 

Games =/= tech.

there may be some who cares about gameplay but most of them just focus on graphics *cough* every FPS and car game that isnt mario kart and that happens in computers *cough*

Uh the whole battlefield franchisr until battlefield hardline and up has nice graphics and amazing gameplay.

You should do either the hallowynn quest and/or any quest that'll mess with you, I'd totally do that, haha. Or maybe csst, that'd sure be weird in vr. Other than that, you should really record this if you want, I'd definitely watch it even tho I know what's gonna happen. Thx to vr
