Art Lowlying Forest

Hello and I'm back with another artwork to share with! This time, @PixelyFoxxy requested me to draw him a background drawing. At the same duration of creating this artwork, I've experimented with some different blending techniques and see which worked for me the most. Anyway, here's the finished work!

this reminds me of animal crossing somehow, theres just a river missing
anyways good work overall, the only thing is the area around the trees looks a little plane in my eyes

 

Nice forest! I think you should add on to it with other objects, such as animals or something in the grass

 

Thanks for the generous feedback! It's kinda true that the area around the trees looks a little plain to me. I was thinking on adding some more grass in there but I don't want to make it any more messier.

Also, I think I'm kind of struggling at adding depth and texture on the grass terrain itself. Thinking on drawing some lines to add depth but I can't really think any much else.

 

Yeh, I think using a thin brush and just putting in some streaks of light green on the grass, and as it gets further back there is less of the detailed light bits. The small squiggles just aren't enough.
