Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

She isn't, though there's one last rumble as she flops over on her back, then pulling her chamber doors shut.

It nods, going back into deeper water and waiting for others to come to the shore.

There's a village down south and a forest just a little east. Both are easy walks, and both will probably suffice for a night's sleep.

 

Voidfiller then decides to continue searching, shifting back to the standard constant change.

 

"I don't trust going to that village." Bardock thinks.
"So the forest it is."

 

There only seems to be three other open rooms, and a giant center hallway leading to the library.

Once you reach the forest, the sky's mostly orange.
This forest seems just as lively as the one back at home, but it's mostly populated by smaller creatures. You seem to be the largest thing in the area.
However, a bit deeper, you can see something green and bigger... it's not moving though, so it's either a mossy rock, or something resting.

 

Voidfiller makes its way looking into room and looking for Crystal, but with no results, then enters the library.

 

"What is that? It's.. green? Can't possible be an animal."
He walks towards the green thing and hides behind some nearby trees. From his hideout he growls like the true animal he is, trying to scare it. (You know, werewolf scary growl)

 

It lets out a quiet cry and seems to shrink, though now that you're closer, you can see that it has a tail that's sticking out of the lump.

Books are zipping around as if Emerald was there, and it seems a bit crowded on some floors.
A lot of draconians seem to be burning time in here.

 

Voidfiller looks around for Crystal, but soon heads towards the exit due to no avail.

 

"So it is an animal?"
Bardock whistles towards the animal.

 

A humanoid dragon with odd metal cuffs and a staff that seems to double as a walking stick peeks around the lump, making eye contact with Bardock but keeping quiet.
Eventually, the lump uncurls itself, revealing a dragon who seems to be more timid than anything else.

Rineth gives Voidfiller a strange look as he passes, going into the library.

 

Voidfiller stops.
"Hey. Rineth."

 

"Huh.? A dragon?" He thinks to himself.
Bardock sits down and looks at the dragon.
He reaches out his hand towards the dragon and wiggles his finger.
"Hello. You friendly?"

 

Rineth pauses.
"Where do you know me from?"

The dragon sniffs at it, nervous.
"Yes, he is." The draconian says. "He's my friend's pet, so if you could not hurt him while he's under my watch, that'd be preferable."

 

"I'm a, uh, friend of Crystal's. I was wondering if you know where he is."

 

"You don't even sound convinced about that one. Who are you really?" He asks, annoyed.

 

"I told you, a friend of Crystal."
Voidfiller says, more confidently.
"I have a message to give him."

 

"There's been a huge lull. Maybe he went home for a bit?"

 

"A'ight. I'll check there, if you really don't know where he is."

 

"If I knew, I'd give you a straight answer." He shrugs.

 

"A'ight. Thanks for the help."
Voidfiller says, then walks out and towards the portal room.
