All: How have you interacted with the others in the past few days?

 

Just putten my observations out there. If the mercenary was protecting the nearby area from mobs the attack on the cursed guy shouldn't of happened unless the mercenary was busy with other "activities". Also mercenaries work for money, so those bandits in the invaded barracks or some other group could have paid a higher price than the murdered guy did. (Did I get it right? ;P )

 

I already went over that part, the Mercinary claims he was fighting on the other side of camp

 

Well, I may or may not have skipped a couple replies xD Did you already go over what magic the scroll decipher guys knows?

 

So if the knife already has fire elemental abilities, then anyone could have used it.

Are we sure there was no one else near the scene of the crime.

 

Tasha: Talking with Vade and Krom.
Gorreth: Getting paid by Vade.
Ormrod: Talking with Krom after he ran out.

Tasha knows some minor magic of all elements.

The murderer is in that group of four people, and Krom was the only one you know was near the crime scene.

 

I find it suspicious that Gorreth has a Water knife, and a Mundane knife, but no Fire knife to be opposite to the water one

Did anyone see the guard fighting when the nomad was attacked?

It took Gorreth a while to get over there, so he didn't actually fight the monsters until Ormrod took them out on his own.

So you've had them for a while then. May I ask, why is one of your knives enchated (with water of all things) while the other is normal?

 

Gorreth: "They where what was on sale in Almuj, since my old daggers broke."
