Can I hear the serpent at all?

I attack the serpant as it dashes by me

 

Attack Roll: 6 + 8 = 14
Defense Roll: 1 + 6 = 7
You cut at it a little, slicing open part of its side, and part of it begins to fade from existence. The serpent dives below the island.

I try to see if its trying to attack again

 

I decide to just look ahead at the island the hound jumped to, and reach it if I can. I keep alert though, in case it decides to jump back out.

 

You make it over to that island. You see a piece of wood on the island that's about 4 feet long, as well as a torn bag with white dust near it.
A. Free Action

 

I attempt to check the torn bag.

 

As you inspect the bag, a mouse runs out. Inside the bag:
Sleeping Mouse x1
Dead Mouse x1
Pile of Flour x3
Wheat Seed x2
Goblin x1
Wait a second...
The Goblin jumps out of the bag. It looks like a lizard with teeth for eyes, red teeth, and eight legs. It begins to flee.
A. Inspect Item
B. Attack the Goblin
C. Attack the Mouse

B. I attempt to slash at the goblin.

Defense Roll: 1 + 8 = 9
You cut its tail off, and it runs to the end of the island.

I attempt to run after it and attack it again.

The Goblin rolls out of the way of your attack. At the end of the platform, you see only one smaller island between you and the watchtower, that has some fences. The Goblin jumps to that island and hisses at you tauntingly.

The Goblin appears to be resting, but you can't see it very well.

 

If im able to get to it I try to take it out, if not I continue to the tower still trying to say hidden

 

I would attempt to sheathe my knives and shoot it with my bow.

You move towards the tower, onto a smaller island. This one has a bit of ruins, as well as a cardboard box.

You punch the mutant in the face, badly bruising him, and he steps back. "Ya thought ye had a choice? Bah! Boys, get 'im!" An Ethidian holding a pistol (!) flies out from hiding. He begins to speak. "Gathering the objects of value from your corpse will be significantly easier."

I draw my sword and attack the Ethidian
