For peoples who still want to explore, here is some of my notes :

All the text come from signs around the map.
I didn't write useless text like "Did you know that a captain killed all his man ?", it's pointless.

True, but the planned events are all over. The server is still open to explore the map.

 

Wish I could've joined in. Was gone for yesterday and today ;-;.

 

oh well at least i was in the first day and got a cancer (when and where do i receive it?)
i still feel sad that i didn't get to stab people in pvp

Wynncon is over and i missed it omg i can't dab anymore

 

Even if I enjoyed a lot Wynncon, I'm going to give some advices for the next time ! :p

- You should really improve the communication between the CTs, a lot of staff didn't know that some things existed (The "Hi" button, the Trump and dick's cave, ...) and it caused a lot of problems.

- DO MORE TESTS ! Really, with some tests you would have avoided a lot of problems ! Just a single test sometimes to see if something still works don't take a lot of time and it would avoid a future waste of time for everybody !

Except these 2 points, everything was fine for me. ^^

Maybe you can make the /warp pvp tp players to the map and give them the equipment so people would still be able to pvp?

 

Yep, this cave is real on the map, but it was not intended to be open.

 

pros:
-the map was fantastic
-the parkour was pretty good
-the events seemed decent

cons:
-giveaways were shit, a lot of people who were supposed to get something didnt get anything because of random bullshit
-you know timezones are a thing right????? no events for the entire day for european and asian timezones, nice
-i only saw staff during the events, they were never online
-everytime something failed, you blamed it on something else (shockbyte, lag, etc.)
-complete lack of preparation. most events were cancelled, the event started 2 hours late, etc.
-i didnt see any "we're sorry if that failed/didnt happen blahblah". you disconnected/didnt say anything literally everytime
-lack of communication (kinda this too^). we had to wait 2 hours to join not knowing when it will be fixed and what the problem was

so yeah
all in all it was a decent event but i was expecting something much better since we already had 2 wynncons before and you had time to learn from your past mistakes. as someone already said you spent more time on the map than on the event itself

 

Pretty sure the people who made the previous wynncons were differently people

also the CT was pretty much the same

 

Never planned on coming to this event...
The previous Wynncons had there share of mistakes, but they never interested me.

 

-The giveaway was a mess, sorry again, so we did do another one on day 2 to make up for it
-It would be almost impossible to set such a long event that works for ALL time zones, so we chose times that worked for most. Asian time zones did suck, but it started at a decent time in the morning for America for it to be early evening/late afternoon Europe.
-I'm not sure what you mean. If you only ever saw staff that would mean they would be online...?
-I stated multiple times that Shockbyte was an issue but also that it was my responsibility too.
-I apologized multiple times as well.
-Communication was an issue, but I understand why it went wrong and plan to not let it happen again, sorry. However, for the server issues, we didn't know what to fix or what the problem was either. I don't want to keep blaming Shockbyte but this part was bullshit for us, we had no help from their staff and the server should have been working fine when it wasn't. It was fustrating.
Also, I'd like to mention do not send any hate mail to Shockbyte, let us solve the issues we had ourselves or else it might make the situation worse than it already is.
