    Hello again :)
I wanted to make a video about the History of the Wynn Province, but I came across many contradictions and had to make some revisions and some guesses. I'd like to post what I have here so people can read it and fact check it. Thanks! :)

INFO: due to the overwhelming support of Yes in the poll, I will be adding Ancient lore in the video!

Our story begins tens of thousands of years ago, when the powerful Ancients rules the land. Their great civilization lies in ruins in what is now the Dernel Jungle. They were fleeing what is believed to be the enigmatic Eye found in the Wynncraft logos, when they tried to harness the power from the four Crystal shards, resulting in the collapse of their empire.

A long, long time ago, Humans, migrating from Fruma to escape the strict monarchy, found the almost untouched and plentiful lands of Wynn.

They established the great capital cities of Ragni and Troms, along with the small port town of Nemract. Dozens of smaller towns popped out throughout the province.

The powerful Noble House of Twain were appointed as “spirit seekers”, a sort of “magic police” that put down Dark magic users.

As they continued to expand, the Humans found a strange piece of land, filled with beautiful, shiny green rocks - emeralds. Nemract, the nearby port town, expanded at an exponential rate and grew into a grand city, profiting from the nearby mining of ton upon tons of emeralds. Brave and greedy miners alike dug deeper and deeper until they uncovered a hellish portal - through which monstrous undead creatures streamed through in a vast army too large to count, the great city of Nemract was destroyed within hours, leaving behind nothing but ruins. Corruption spread throughout the province, turning what was once a peaceful, happy realm into a war-torn land in a fight for survival.

The great cities of Wynn desperately gathered their armies in preparation for the terrifying battles to come.

The discovery of the portal and the following hordes of the undead was the distinguishing event that made Wynn the center of the world. Fruma abandoned all ties with the province and closed its doors to the undead, and is migrants. The province waged war on its enemies for centuries, creating legends and ultimately a province of warriors. It is said that children in Wynn were able to kill before they could even talk properly.

Marius Twain of the Noble House of Twain adopted four magically gifted children - Rickeo, Theorick, Dwendle and Mael. Their abilites were astoundingly powerful, from Rickeo's manipulation of fire, to Dwendle's control of air and Theorick's ability to govern ice. However, Mael was different from the rest, for he could talk to spirits. Together, they became an unstoppable force.

The portal had been quiet for the last few centuries, but suddenly, armies of monsters streamed through once again. The twain children gathered together, and they faced the hordes of the undead. although the monster numbers dwindled down, the spirit seekers were killed and it was seen as the biggest loss the empire has ever seen, for the four of them were stronger than any army - but Mael survived. Mael, unable to look after himself in his old age spent the remainder of his time in a secret library learning arts to pass on to the one worthy, for when he had passed on his trade, Mael would no longer be needed.

The first of the rich Villagers from Gavel came to Wynn about a century ago, seeking a cure for the decay that plagued their lands, but found a province embroiled in a centuries long war. The Villagers taught humans their powerful magic, and established their capitalist society in Wynn. Villagers traded weapons, armor, and other goods for the abundance of emeralds that the Humans did not need. Villagers benefited monetarily from Wynn, and Wynn benefited from the magical knowledge of them in exchange.

In the same year that the Villager race arrived at the Wynn province, the famous, impenetrable Ragni suffered the largest undead attacks in history. Ragni's army numbers were high and many soldiers died to protect their families within the walls. However, as the sheer numbers pressed, the largest horde recorded entered the city. Many of the residents were slaughtered, maimed or infected by the onslaught of creatures and fled into the rotten sewers of Ragni. The horde rampaged for 6 days.

The years following were considered the darkest in Wynn history.

In the sewers, a seemingly insignificant child by the name of Robert was born to an unknown mother.

12 years later, a second horde found its way into the city. It caught the city by surprise. Robert, the child born during the raids a little over a decade ago, had to kill his own mother to stop her from becoming the Undead. With her dying breaths, Robert’s mother pressed a map into his hands - a map with four areas each marked with a number, ‘1, 2, 3, 4.’

He headed east, to the sandy area indicated by his mother's drawing, the one with the knife symbol, and the number "1". He found one man,and Robert placed the dark daggers in his hand. The man began to tell Robert of what he must now do to aid in the war; he must travel to the 4 masters of Wynn province, to learn their magic and skill if he is to lend his hand in the cursed war. Only once he had mastered one skill would he be given the key that the next master would accept.

After 5 years of training to become an assassin, Master Chak, who had taught him, told him his time was now up with him and he would have to progress to learn Archery. Robert began his journey further south; past the blizzards where he found the Twain Mansion - the bow symbol with the number "2" accompanying it on the map. He met Mael Twain (the very same), and Robert spent a further 5 years mastering the art of crafting and firing arrows, in any situation and learning the magic surrounding the bow. Then, he headed to the next spot on the map, a “3” in the middle of the forests.

When he reached the forest, he entered a mystical village, where he met Ethe, the master of magic. Wandlore had not come so easily to him as knavery or archery had. After 5 years of hard work however, magic flowed through his veins, and he set out to Troms, where the last location was marked.

Upon arrival, Robert was surprised; the city had been hit - hard. In the fires, Master Fier stood, who through the next 5 years taught Robert everything to know about the art of the Spear. Upon the end of his training, Robert - or as the people called him, Bob - was now the strongest soldier that Wynn had ever seen. He became unrivaled in his power, destroying all creatures that ever came near a settlement under his protection. Bob’s story quickly became a huge beacon of hope for many fighting the war; no one could defeat Bob and his mythic weapons. Shortly after this, Mael finally dies.

Bob, the hero of wynn, vanishes.

    Recent
Fruma, weary of the fact they bordered a province of skilled warriors, reopened their borders to offer their support in the form of fresh recruits as a gesture of goodwill. Now, there appears to be a strong alliance between Wynn, Gavel, and Fruma, through the proxy of Wynn.

Thanks for reading! Any feedback/criticism/additions/corrections/suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

EDIT: Moved the Twain children to ~120 years ago
EDIT 2: Detlas and Almuj were created AFTER the villagers arrival, and not before

I think detlas and almuj were built after the emeralds were found. And I'm pretty sure the villagers came ten years ago, at least not as the same time as bob was born

In the ragni library, it says that in the same year that Bob was born, the villagers arrived from gavel. If the villagers arrived only ten years ago they would not have been able to effectively take over Wynn society (Even the King is a villager)

Let me answer all your questions.

where does it say humans came from fruma?
Llevigar library entries, Wynn chapter 1: "Most of the population migrated from Fruma"

also they made ancient nemract (ancient nemract is younger than troms and ragni)
Correct, I already have this in my lore: "They established the great capital cities of Ragni and Troms, along with the trading hubs of Nemract and Detlas, and the desert city Almuj. Dozens of smaller towns popped out throughout the province." Nemract was not called Ancient nemract when it was destroyed.

wasn't his mother named mami or smth (also he had grey skin thus making a possibility he was from dern)
Yep, but I didn't think those details affected Bob's story very much

Fruma, weary of the fact they bordered a province of skilled warriors, reopened their borders to offer their support ... Source
Llevigar library entries, Wynn chapter 1: "Fruma, weary of the fact that they boarded an abandoned province of warriors reopened their borders..."
Also, it s repeatedly stated that you are a recruit from Fruma.

I'm not entirely sure if the whole "Escaping the monarchy" thing is true, as opposed to Fruma just settling new lands. The founders of Corkus are the escapees.
Almuj and Detlas came much later. In fact, even Maltic is older.
ok sure but making it clear that's it's just the inhabitants of the house, not the descendants of Twain or whatever
    right this i don't get
sure, the info here is correct
but i still have yet to see a source saying it happened 1000+ years ago, especially when the source saying it didn't is the person who wrote the lore of the game
    oh
this is where the problem begins
you've interpreted the brothers fighting against the hordes from the portal as being them fighting when the portal was originally found
    that's not it.
They fought at the beginning of the dark ages of Wynn, when the Wynn empire was "defeated," at it's lowest point, right before the hero Bob was born to drive back the corruption. Basically, it was a period of time when, thanks to some stupid miners, the portal went batshit crazy and spewed out some of the largest hordes Wynn had ever seen, case-in-point the swarm that attacked Ragni in the decade that followed.
What you've done here is mesh two separate events, causing confusion. The first paragraph and the last paragraph are separate times from the middle one.
Pretty much, though Fruma's borders are still closed to outsiders. It's closers to Wynn and Gavel have a strong alliance, and Fruma's sort of there as the third wheel. Still part of the group, but not as much as the others.

All of the Bob lore was fine, too. Thankfully that lore has stayed pretty much the same throughout the years.

wow, some great points! let me clear some stuff up

From the Llevigar Library Entries, Wynn History - Chapter 1: "Most of the population migrated from Fruma, to escape the monarchy in search of new lands."

I was under the impression that (Ancient) nemract, Detlas, and almuj all sprung up because of the emerald trade that was going on 1000 years ago. Also, wasn't Maltic the first all-villager settlement in Wynn?

From the Lususco Library Entries, Chapter 2 - The Noble House of Twain: "Twain is the last name of a family, a family of immense magical and spiritual heritage that has inhabited the province of Wynn for as long as past records go."

Alright, so what you are saying is that 1,000+ years ago when the miners FIRST opened the portal, huge armies poured out and destroyed nemract and all, and a huge war was fought, and for a while the portal had been just quietly spreading corruption through the land until ~100 years ago when the attacks came back and caught Wynn by surprise - and the twain brothers THEN stepped in to help fight the hordes back until Bob came along?
If that's what you are saying that actually makes a lot of sense!

I would agree, but Llevigar Library Entries, Wynn History - Chapter 2: "Now there appears to be a strong alliance between all 3 provinces, through the proxy of Wynn. Villagers benefit monetarily from Wynn, Wynn benefits from the magical knowledge of them in exchange. The population gain from Fruma made up for a huge loss of life during the conflicts."

About the towns, Detlas and almuj were built after the villagers arrived. Before they arrived it was just, ancient nemract, Ragni, Troms, and maybe new Nemract, though I'm not sure. Maltic was the first villager settlement in Wynn I do believe.

    Huh, guess so
This is correct for Ancient Nemract only. They settled the city near the corrupted fields, which, after the discovery of the emerald mines and then portal, lead to it's destruction. While it would normally make sense for Detlas to be settled for the emeralds, Ancient Nemract also acted as a port town that could be used to export emeralds to the Villagers. Detlas and Almuj were settled with the arrival of Bob The Warrior (being fully trained, that is) and the advent of common magic, which led to a much safer era. Otherwise it would be madness to settle a city so close to the Portal. I can't seem to find Almuj's lore at the moment, but there are multiple sources showing they showed up less than a decade ago, and the timeline says it was ~65 years ago.
Hmm... From one of Grian's old lore threads, it says "The spirit seeker is not a job that is acquired easily, moreover it was specifically a job name granted to the inhabitants of the house of Twain. Twain is the last name of a family, a family of immense magical and spiritual heritage that has inhabited the province of Wynn for as long as past records go. Throughout recent history children have been blessed with gifts of elemental magic, gifts of this nature are so rare that there have only been 4 recorded individuals to have housed such immense sorcery in recent records. "
Perhaps it's just different interpretations, but seeing as how the four children of magical potential weren't actually Twains yet were given the job, it seemed to me it was really just whoever lived in the actual haunted house, rather than referring to the House of Twain as a family. Again, this is probably just different people reading between the lines in different ways. In any case, it's not a big deal.
Pretty much, yeah. After the portal was opened, it seems like Wynn fought back against the initial hordes, and then the corruption receded to a level similar to now, though perhaps more active. Then, 100 years ago, it sent out some more hordes. It's also possible that the forces of corruption arriving in waves like this was a more typical thing, and that it was simply the fact that, after 900 years, the empire of Wynn was finally giving out.
I guess the "Proxy of Wynn" thing is more important than I first though, then, since it's basically Fruma helped Wynn and Wynn was like "hey gavel fruma's cool alright"

To reiterate: These cities were constructed after the Villagers came to Wynn. If (Ancient) Nemract was rich from the emerald trade (I mean, it was.. it had a colosseum), being the closest city to the Nether, then that basically denies the existence of Detlas, which is closer to the portal than Nemract.

The monsters only came out after the nether was entered and partially excavated. It's not even stated that the miners who found the portal are the same as the ones who unleashed the Undead.

In the Llevigar library, it says that Fruma sent recruits only after the Villagers came. However, in Relos' library, it states that "The slow release of the Fruman population into the province of Wynn began a thousand years ago, at the start of Wynn's corruption outbreak." It's possible that the people who came before the Villagers are simply civilians, but why? I can understand recruits - getting yourself into a mutually beneficial relationship (Wynn getting recruits, Fruma establishing a connection to a financially stable province connected to the wealthy Gavel and that one other group of humans [Corkus]), but civilians? It is (also) possible that these people opposed the Monarchy (much like the Corkians), but instead of escaping they got deported.

I wasn't even aware that relos had a library. dammit contradictions! Another explanation I can think of is that the Frumans initially sent recruits to help fight the war in Wynn, but stopped after the situation got worse.
