"What was your biggest order?" Praecantatia asks, her eyes seeming to flash slightly before she summons some shiny golden dust in her hands.


"If we can postpone this conversation for a short while, I have a telepathic connection to see to." Caelia says respectfully.

"You are?" Caelia asks telepathically.

 

"Into the sanctuary?"

 

"We've had an order of thirty cakes, two hundred pounds of taffy, and five hundred other assorted pastries. Business has been going beautifully ever since."


"Of course."

The link seems to disappear once Caelia tries to use it.

"No, the council's room."

 

"Well I don't intend to go there, so that's not much of a problem."

 

"Wow, I'm really happy things have been going well for you then. Who ordered it, if I can ask?" Praecantatia asks, smiling, a positive atmosphere around her.


"Apologies, whoever it was couldn't seem to hold the connection. What where we speaking about?" Caelia asks, an honest look in her vibrant green eyes.

 

"Cool. Maybe you can get a visit with them later?"

"It was for the royal celebration of the return of our god."


"Oh, just you wait." Sivius sighs.

"Hey, what's with you outsiders? I'm two for two on getting cut off!"

 

"Sure. Haven't got anything better to do."

 

"Wow, a god? Did you ever meet them?" Praecantatia asks happily.


"Is this the paradox girl you spoke of?" Caelia asks, raising an eyebrow.

 

"You don't?"

"Yeah, they live here." They nod.


"Probably."

"I have a name and I know he told you."

 

"I wonder what it's like to meet a god. That must be really amazing!" Praecantatia says, surprised and happy.


"I'm not sorry, I could hear your name because I couldn't. You must be Caelia, Goddess of Space, incorrect?" Caelia asks Xiza.

 

"Aren't you a goddess, though?" The clerk asks, putting two boxes of candy on the counter.


"Ah, yes. For your sake, I'll play by normal rules of conversation. Nice to meet you, Caelia. You probably know my name, given to you from the mortal with my blessing." She thinks. "You're a short reality's jump away from home, though."

 

"Not until about a week from now."

 

"What's in a week?"

 

"Uh...how could you tell?" Praecantatia asks, blushing and smiling.


"I've found these two realities have drifted closer together recently. It is most likely from the gods of my own visiting it." Caelia responds, checking her necklace.

 

"Me checking in with a guard."
Voidfiller vaguely states.

 

"Our mayor warned everyone of your coming. You apparently almost took out the black market?"


"True, but that's not the reason. It's the one's with the ender's blessing who is drawing yours near."

"Didn't take you long to get in trouble, I guess?"

 

"Oh, I guess I sort of did, haha." Praecantatia says, embarassed.


"What is the ender's blessing? And whom is the owner of it?" Caelia asks, curious and concerned.

 

Voidfiller smiles.
"No, a day ago they said they could get back to me about visiting their leader in about a week."

 

"Well, you didn't, so it'll work out." They say, putting a scale on the counter.


"Oh, I can't speak of her. I love her, but she's crazy."

"Oh, okay. That worries me a bit less."

 

Voidfiller shrugs.
"Well, should we get going?"
