What Is Your Most Hated Quest ?

I love taproot

Underwater is pretty boring to do though

 

We must not forget about old quests that were later rewamped and remade *cough* *cough* old ToL *cough* *cough*

 

well I mean supposedly they use the prisoners as test subject by stitching them together into flesh amalgams
at least it has some lore

 

My top three least favorite quests are probably:

??? - It's fun the first few times but as stated earlier in the thread it's just a big hassle by the third or fourth time because of the amount of coordination needed between players.

Dead Island - I don't so much hate this quest, rather I feel like it's extremely outdated. The story doesn't make much sense, (why can't the old man just flat out tell you what happened?), and it's basically just a fetch quest. It could really use a revamp/rework in my opinion.

Troubled Tribesmen - Similar problem to Dead Island, it's a very old quest and feels outdated. Sometimes when you jump down the tree to fight the "boss" it won't properly update your quest book and you're forced to /kill to get out. Not to mention the big "boss" is really more like a regular enemy at that level, except with a bit more health. It's not particularly challenging in the slightest for the level. The quest as a whole is just... Boring. (Go to place A, talk to this person, congrats you can magically understand us now for some reason, fight this underwhelming boss, and here's a small reward, kthxbye.)

Siwel doesn't tell you what happened because he expects you to die in the memory. He's ashamed of what he did and doesn't want people to know. He tries sending those curious to their deaths, which works until you turn up.

Probably the 7LE reward.

Why those? King's Recruit is the tutorial, of course it's going to be basic, as is Enzan's Brother, which is a basic early quest. They serve their purpose very well, despite not being the epic adventures that later quests are.

I actually like General's Orders. The story and dialogue are interesting and entertaining, the tasks are fairly interesting (at least they gave you a map in the maze) and the boss is unique and not too annoying.

That makes a lot more sense than what I was thinking, but regardless the quest is still just a fetch quest and it's pretty boring.

Boring wise, Ice Nations.
I personally hate Rise of The Quartron. It had an interesting boss, sure. But the rest of the quest is just, find (insert forgettable name here), not to mention the hard-to-navigate area. Plus, if your an Assassin or Warrior, good luck with Quartron. Parkour plus getting hit while doing so was the worst. Rip all the users w/ potatoes for pcs, better turn down, or off particles. Before a pc upgrade I lagged like there was no tomorrow.

Most quests that are considered poor are like little Commodore 64 games that didn't control too well, Eye of The Storm is the Sonic 06 of bad quests.

shit bosses, shit lore, shit town, shit reason to allow access into said shit town

House of Twain. It's all because of that goddamn cellar. First you have to find a clue to even know you're supposed to go into the cellar, then you have to find the most camouflaged button in the history of quests to open it, and you don't even know it opens the cellar because there is no noise indicating it. Then, you have to throw two items into trapdoors, and there is NOTHING telling you to do this, not even a single clue.

Maybe I'm dumb, but I spent more than an hour running around that house trying to find a way to open the cellar until I finally gave up and opened a tutorial, and even then it only told me to look for a button, but the button is made of wood, and it is placed on a wooden block, so it was near impossible for me to find it.

 

Memory Paranoia

 

Basically most Gavel quests and a few Wynn fetch quests like Drought Sand. Gavel's quests were so disappointing, maybe except for an Iron Heart Part II.
