Strange Location Found In The Molten Heights

...While I was bounding about the Molten Heights, searching for blaze powder, I came across a (rather well-hidden) parkour path, and after locating it again and finishing it, it led into this strange area...



There is a hopper in the middle of that lava pool, and I threw in 2 Mashed Insects and Emeralds. They did nothing.

Could this be a boss altar?


(oh yeah there's also a t4 loot chest there)

 

Since I don't recognize this, I feel like there's a good chance that either I just don't know anything about Boss Altars (highly likely) or that it's just a random area built for the T4 chest (possible).

 

This is very old

You throw pigman meat in and a thing opens
It has a chest in it, nothing much

 

No, if you throw a pigman meat into the hopper then it will open up a door that goes into a t4 chest

 

You throw a porkchop in the middle of that altar, and a door opens to a secret room with a T4 loot chest.

 

Oooh... just how old is it?

Also: where'd anyone get Pigman Meat in the Molten Heights???

Hinestly, if I want the loot chest really badly I just go to Pigman's ravine and get some pigman meat.

 

I think there's some mountain pigman in the upper heights, but your best going to pigman ravines

And it was found not long after gavel release iirc

 

Im pretty sure theres pigment in the upper molten heights area + if you look into the side of one of the blocks there theres an item frame showing pitman meat

Now, about that, is there anywhere in the Molten Heights where blaze powder can be found?

 

To be honest, I don't think we've had a genuine 'New find' for the past year. (Excluding Corkus)

 

The guy who solve the end portal puzzle will find something new. XD

And the ??? quest! The Gameplay update released August 28th of last year, it hasn't been a full year yet.

 

I have no idea why I felt the urge to do this.

 

It's been a long time since we last found a dialog ._.

Well, well, well, looks like another adventurer has discovered the spot! ^^ It's cool to see other folks exploring for hidden stuff!



ALSO: See those silver carpets? Just saw them today. They lead you through an(other) impressively well-set-up parkour trip through the dragon skeleton, and ends in a small cave with a dragon's nest. There's a T4 Loot Chest in the center, guarded by fire-breathing Fire Drake Hatchlings.

And on the way, you're taken through the domains of different kinds of ranged mobs who're bent on ruining your trip. So be careful.

 

Well that's new.
