Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"W-Wow." Fia says, intimidated.


"I think I'd have too much of an advantage." Praecantatia says, giving two finger guns and a wink as she heads into the city, sparks flying from her fingertips.


"Does the curse prevent her body adapting to the change in size?" Caelia asks.

 

Nope, just leaves... some are completely bare.

"I have a few others, but she's been around a while."


He chuckles, vanishing.
Praecantatia seems to have entered into the commercial district, shops everywhere.


"Not just adapting, but it prevents her vitals from changing size at all."

 

Disinterested, Voidfiller flies upwards, trying to find the merchant and the convoy.

 

"Well, I guess you can fight for yourself." Fia says nervously.


Praecantatia wanders around, looking at the shops.


"That's unfortunate. Perhaps my friend, Praecantatia, the Goddess of Magic, may be able to break her curse?" Caelia suggests.

 

He can't find the merchant, though Iruk seems to be talking and walking with the other draconian.

"Actually, I can't. My puppets have to do my dirty work."


Pet shops, cafes, magic shops...
...bake shop with confectionaries...


"Equally dangerous. If Xlentia falls, her palace's dark secret will rise again, and likely consume our entire reality."

 

Voidfiller cautiously decides to try and stalk them again, trying to listen in on their conversation.

 

"Hourglasses, huh? I thought they used clocks."
"They do, but it's more for entertainment. Like, games."
Iruk just waves you over.

 

Voidfiller walks over, pretending like he wasn't stalking them.
"Hey."

 

"Hey, Voidfiller." Iruk says.
"Aren't you the one that was spying on me earlier?"

 

"I did sort of mean that, haha." Fia says, laughing nervously as a large sweat-drop appears on the side of her head for a moment before disappearing.


Praecantatia heads into the bake shop, trying to look normal.


"Is there a conditional curse break?" Caelia asks.

 

"Yeah."
It admits.
"I wanted to see if you looked familiar."

 

"Well... yeah."


There's hardly a line, sweets and breads galore.


"I don't think so."

"Well, I haven't seen you around, so go figure I didn't."

 

"Doesn't mean I didn't see you. But yeah, you don't look familiar."

 

"I didn't see you in any nearby timeline either, so yeah." They shrug.

 

Voidfiller smiles.
"Name's Voidfiller, but you already know that."
It extends its hand for a handshake.

 

They accept it.
"Legna. I used to be called Angel, but my parents flipped it after I became a clawful."

 

"Nice to meet you, Legna."
Voidfiller shakes their hands, eventually letting go.

 

"If it wasn't obvious, I'm a trader. I work for one of the big three craftsmen in the floating sanctuary."

 

"Floating sanctuary?"
It asks.
