Ormrod's curse is canonical, and...

The curse gives him terrible luck in this version of Wynn.

 

So ignoring the curse thing, Ormrod's tent was attacked my monsters, fine. His tent was close enough to the camp for Ormrod to hear the yelling, so it should be close enough that it falls under Garreth's protection. So the question is, why was Garreth not doing his job an hour and a half before the murder...

Garreth: Where were you at 8 AM the day of the murder

 

Gorreth: "Patrolling the camp. I was on the other side of the camp, so by the time I could get over there, the battle was already over."

 

Its from a quest called Wrath of the Mummy

Ormrod: Did any of these monsters use fire or sharp weapons?

 

Ormrod: "No, they were mostly spiders and scarabs."

 

Is there any investigating we can do other than talking to these guys? (Investigating relatives, friends, etc?)

Gorreth: What were you doing at the other side of the camp?

 

Gorreth: "I have no idea who Ormrod is, and Krom and Tasha are WynnExcavation employees."
Tasha: "Ormrod is some guy outside the camp, Gorreth is a mercenary Vader hired to guard it, and Krom is a WynnExcavation employee who's higher rank than me who didn't like Vade that much."
Ormrod: "Gorreth is that guy who was walking around outside the camp, and I have no idea who Krom and Tasha are."
Krom: "Ormrod is some guy outside the camp who saw me when I ran out, Gorreth is a mercenary Vader hired to guard our camp in Almuj, and Tasha is a researcher working for WynnExcavation who's lower rank than me."

Ormrod: If you didn't know the camp was there, how did you see Krom running out of the tomb?

 

Krom: What might be your job in Wynn Excavation, and do you ever work with Vade?

Ormrod/Gorreth/Tasha: Have you ever seen Vade or Krom walking to the tomb together?
Tesha: What was Vades and Krom's roles in WynnExcavation?

 

Ormrod: "It's more that I heard him yelling as he ran towards my camp."

Krom: "I'm an excavator, and I did work with Vade before he died."

Ormrod: "No."
Gorreth: "At about 6 AM, I believe. Vade came out and put something in Tasha's tent around 8:30, but then he went back into the tomb."
Tasha: "I think they went in at around 6 AM."

Tasha: "Vade and Krom were both excavators, and they were of equal rank in the company. Who's Tesha?"

 

Tasha: What did Vade put in your tent?
Tasha: Does Krom ever look jealous of hateful towards Vade?

 

Krom: "what was your relationship with Vale?"

Krom and Tasha: "How high ranking was Vale compared to you two"

 

Gorreth: Are your daggers enchanted with any magic or are they just plain old daggers and just wondering how much did Vade pay you to protect him?

Tasha/Krom: Did Gorreth ever Complaint about his payment?

 

Tasha: "A scroll they found in the ruins, so I could work on translating it."

Tasha: "Krom did dislike Vade."

Krom: "We were technically the same rank, although Vade didn't seem to notice that."
Tasha: "Vade and Krom are both higher rank than I am."

Gorreth: "One of my daggers is enchanted with water magic, but the other isn't magical at all. Vade paid me one Liquid Emerald for this job."

Tasha, Krom: "He seemed quite satisfied with it, actually."

I think we can all agree krom probably killed vade
