Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

It immediately flies away, deciding to investigate one of the castles.

 

The watchers leave, other shifters flying up to stop Voidfiller.
"Keep your distance from the palace, outsider."

 

"Should I enter through the front? I've got nothing better to do than investigate things right now."
Voidfiller shrugs.

 

"You may not enter at all."

 

"Huh? Why'sat?"

 

"Preparation for a royal ceremony. Leave willingly, or leave too weak to resist."

 

"A'ight. I was getting to it."
Voidfiller drops to the ground, backing away from the castle.

 

The guards don't pursue, but all of them seem to be staring at it.

 

Voidfiller back up slowly, looking up at the guards as well.

 

They all have weapons at the ready, though the archers and mages don't have any arrows nocked or spells charging.

 

"Like some kind of animal tamer?" Fia asks, curious.


"Do you have a candy shop here?" Praecantatia asks, smiling.


"It's a metaphor." Caelia says flatly.

 

Voidfiller jogs away, looking around at the scenery.

 

"Sort of, yeah."


"Yep. You came all the way here... for candy?"


"I know."

There's been more vibrant forests, but this one isn't burning or in ruins.
Everything seems to have a slight grey hue.

 

"Oh, cool." Fia says with a slight smile.


Praecantatia shrugs.

"I wanted to try another reality's candy." Praecantatia says happily.


Caelia sighs.

 

Sapphire opens a portal to outside the library, Cerise (her massive gryphon puppet) looking into the portal curiously.
"Those are the real deal."


"Well, you'll find it in the commercial district. Why don't you shrink yourself down a bit and stay a while?"


Sivius smiles.
"Sorry. Though, beyond that... you said you came here because Gaia suggested it?"

 

Fia seems rather scared, stepping back a bit.


"Sure." Praecantatia says happily, leaping toward the city before changing to human size, gracefully falling to the ground.


"Yes. Apparently Gaia wanted me to change Xlentia's size too, but she's cursed for that not to be an option." Caelia says.

 

Sapphire closes the portal, Cerise pulling back.
"That's my girl Cerise, one of my original puppets. Built intending to crush armor and be an air transport if need be."


The man raises a hand as the city gates open.
"Well, maybe you should visit the bowling alley, too." He chuckles.


"Yeah, that would kill her. That would cause tons of problems."

 

It explores the forest, seeing what there is to offer.

 

A few other "sleeping" villages and a few other communities. None of them seem to care about the fact they're horrid tourist spots.

 

The thing looks around to see if there's any fruits on nay of the trees.
